Nope, not a joke. We're quite serious actually.
According to the Gallup Poll, George W. Bush’s job approval rating is higher than that of our current leader, President Barack Obama.
That Gallup poll has just satisfied started asking Americans to retrospectively rate Bush's job performance from when he was in charge. Astoundingly, when the numbers came in for his job approval ratings, he scored an impressive 47% - a point higher than Barack's rating in the same week.
Now, a point may not seem like a lot, but we think it speaks volumes, considering that when he was in office, George once landed in the 25% range and never got anything close that number before Hurricane Katrina.
We could blame this all on the positive media coverage he is getting in conjunction with his new book, but if we were the President, we'd start thinking about ways to improve that number and get back on top.
