SuBo Worth Over $16 Million!

| Filed under: AnglophiliaMusic MinuteBusiness BlitzSusan Boyle

susan boyle is worth sixteen and a half million

And to think…she lives on an allowance of only $450 a week!

According to Cliff Dane of Britain's Sunday Times Rich List, Susan Boyle is worth about $16.5 million.

Here's what Dane had to say about it:

“Unlike a lot of artists who write songs and have heavy touring commitments, most of Susan’s income has come from old-fashioned record sales, mostly CDs as opposed to downloads due to the nature of her fanbase. I estimate she is currently worth $16.5 million based on royalties and advances accumulated to date.”

We're glad to hear it, SuBo!

We're proud of you, and we wish you the best with your continued success, bb!

Why's she on an allowance? Someone is taking advantage of this woman.

HIGHLY DOUBTFUL… THE MENTALLY RETARDED BITCH ONLY DOES VOCALS AND DOESNT WRITE HER OWN SONGS, NO AIRPLAY, NO TOURING, NO MAJOR APPEARANCE FEES, NO OTHER MEDIA OR PRODUCTS, ETC. SHE HAS NOTHING, NOT EVEN EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CREDITS OR ANYTHING. BESIDES, U KNOW SIMON COWELL RIPPED HER OFF ON THE ALBUM CONTRACT. OH, AND DONT FORGET TAXES. EVEN IF AT MOST SHE GOT A DOLLAR A CD SOLD, SHE'S LOOKING AT $8-9 MIL GROSS. THEN LESS TAXES SHE'S ABOUT 5-6 MIL MAX!! OBVIOUSLY CLIFF DANES KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT MUSIC BIZ… SMH.

She needs to be careful. Greedy opportunists could try and take advantage of her. Watch every penny, Susan and where it goes!

Sorry, commenters. It's not POOR Subo. The author of the article is the London Times guru for their annual "Rich List". Her knows a helluva lot more than you do about it.

The royalties et al. go to Susan first. She then signs off on investment decisions made by her financial advisor, Ossie Kilkenny, the guy who made U2 rich. Her lawyer is her niece, Kirsty Foy , who negotiated her first contract with Cowell. It is not the standard contract, for one thing Susan doesn't pay production costs. She put herself on the allowance and pays cash. She said she didn't want a credit card, because she'd spend too much. If she needs anything extra, she notifies her accountant, as in when she bought her new house, car and grand piano. Her goal is to have $50 million in 10 years when she retires.

Subo has sold about 12 million records worldwide, including the sales of her new CD the Gift. She also got the advance for her book this year and TV and concert performance fees. Easily $16 million plus. Next year she is expected to have $25 million. Go Subo.

Oh my. I also hope people are not taking advantage of her. I wonder if she even realizes how much money that is.

Re: trennie – AS USUAL U FORGOT TAXES. MORON. SO ROUGHLY 55-60% STILL WORKS OUT WHAT I SAID. STFU ALREADY.

It's sad how Simon Cowell and her own family are ripping her off, giving her only $450 a week and taking millions to themselves.
And she's supposedly "fine" with it. As if she's strong enough not to agree.

    Re: xcalibur

xlaxcalibur rears his ugly-ass head. Who cares about your vomit-ridden opinion! You are an infected pimple on Subo's ample buttocks! Kiss her enormous ass you ignorant piece of weasel manure!

but still looks like bigfoots grandma

Subo's family get's nothing. The checks are in her name. She pays her 2 nieces industry standard salaries for their services. One as her lawyer, one as her PA. The whole purpose of hiring Ossie Kilkenny was to shelter as much as possible of her income from the taxman.

Excalibur, you obviously know absolutely nothing about high level money management. Go slide back under your rock.
