Because Of Larry King, Wesley Snipes Might Not Go To Jail!

Last night, Wesley Snipes was on Larry King Live to talk about his tax evasion conviction and his upcoming court ordered vacation to prison.

During the show, Larry read aloud a statement from one of the jury members on Wesley's case. The juror admitted that there was "one juror that had said they knew Mr. Snipes was guilty right when they first saw him during the jury selection."

Apparently, that person has never heard the phrase "innocent before proven guilty" or the phrase "keep your mouth shut."

With this kind of evidence, Wesley's legal team can now claim a mistrial on the basis of juror misconduct. Moments ago, they rushed to file an emergency motion for a new trial.

No word yet if the judge is allowing the motion or if Wesley will still be carted off to prison tomorrow.

If he doesn't, that's what we call one hell of a lucky break!

Perez your not a legal expert, so STFU. The odds of Snipes not going to jail are very small.

He never deserved to go to jail in the first place.

That information would have been useful at the beginning of the trial. Sounds less than honest. If it's true, Snipes is one lucky SOB.

Why are people being put in jail for misdemeanors? They should be fined lots of $$$. Why should tax payers pay for keeping rich people in jail when it isn't even a "dangerous" crime?

The US INJUSTICE SYSTEM IS A SHAM!

No, I call it the entire entertainment industry is literally a branch of Government.

Funny thing Wesley, if you would've done the time when sentenced, you would've already been out getting on with life. You did the crime, so just do the time. Stop wasting taxpayer money on your excuses and just man up. Then, after all is said and done, you can get your post-prison interview and land another movie role. Look at that, I just killed two birds with one stone- your tax issue and your career all for pro bono.

that's the problem with hollywood liberals.. they're all for big government, yet when it comes time for them to pay the tax man, they don't. the rules always apply to everyone else, right?! he's a has been and should go to jail. he didn't pay his taxes. if this was someone NOT in the entertainment industry, they'd go to jail, so why is he any different?
