    Those blurs are highly inaccurate.

Why the fuk did Drew Barrymore agree to do this crap???

this is why gays annoy straights…………

    Re: April 20th

Like straights do nothing to annoy gays. LOL!

What's with all the blurring? Are Americans soooo sexually repressed that they… Never mind!

This really IS the segment of gay people who annoy straight people though! Not ALL straight people…but some. If you deny that, you're just being PC. Normal, average gay people are not offensive to most people. But normal, average gay people don't get into this kind of "music video." It's extreme. Most straight people cannot relate to or understand this kind of extremely vulgar display.

Re: Dixie77 – I totally agree. Why is the act of being gay thrown in everyone's faces all the time? Why do some gay ppl act like being gay defines their entire lives? Are their lives so boring that they have to flaunt being gay 100% of the time? You don't have to constantly barrage people in the face with your sexuality, that is annoying from anyone, be it gay or straight. I don't care if you are gay or straight–if you can't talk about anything other than your sexuality, that becomes tiresome and gets old real quick.

Re: PalinsGaySon – can you tell Revolennon and Dixie77 they should have been aborted, too, please

    DISGUSTING

    Re: Dixie77

Hi Dixie. I'm a gay man and I can see where you are coming from. I thought the video was funny but it in no way represents my lifestyle or the lifestyle of many gay men. Just like straight folks, there are over-the-top types and others who lead quiet lives. Personally, I'm happy hanging out with my friends at a small pub on the weekends that has cheap beer and a cool jukebox selection (I always play The White Stripes, Johnny Cash, Joan Jett, The Donnas, The Ramones, Belle & Sebastian, etc.)

Revolennon: Not all gay people are obsessed with their sexuality. It's part of who I am but it's definitely not everything I am. The media tends to hype the most extreme people in any situation gay or straight.

Also, if anyone wants to see a live straight version of this type of behavior, simply go to any hot spot for college Spring Break or go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. You can also watch Jersey Shore on MTV. :)

Re: Revolennon – But at the same time, a lot of people confuse gay peoples' mannerisms with flaunting their sexuality. It seems like society often times wont allow effeminate gay men to be anything other than a cliche. Straight people go to clubs searching for hook ups, too. I mean, if more women were down for the kind of behavior seen in the video above, would every straight club in America not be doing the same on a give Saturday night? It's like some people sit there examining every move gay — or presumably gay — people make, and at the first sign of their sexuality being made obvious, they freak out. It's really obnoxious.

    lol so funny!

Re: Revolennon – If you're really that judgemental and offended so easily, then I really hope every time a straight female or male artists makes a sexually explicit video, you comment about how offensive and annoying and gross it must be to the gay community, and how you think those artists are gross and don't represent the straight community as a whole, and express your empathy toward the gay community for having to put up with such lewdness. Idiot.

To those who called me names, you will not receive a response from me as I am not interested in engaging in discussions with people who cannot express their opinions without resorting to name calling. To RubberRat and pmw29206, thanks for saying what you wanted to say without getting nasty about it. I agree the media definitely plays up the most extreme of all sexual orientations. The shame in that is that, take a video like this for instance, someone who is truly anti-gay would probably use it as more ammo for why they don't like gays. They wouldn't even consider that there are gay ppl out there that you wouldn't be able to pick out of a line-up. I don't have any problem with gay people, I'm for gay rights (unlike what some ppl might have inferred, incorrectly) and I feel that the focus on the extreme (videos like this) can definitely turn people away from being open-minded to the gay community. That's why I made the point about some gay ppl, it seems to me at least, focus so much on the fact that they're gay that it's like they've forgotten what else they have to offer.

There is more to a person than who they choose to sleep with, and when you only focus on one aspect of their personality you compromise the value of their persona as a whole. You can be proud of your sexual orientation, but you don't have to act like it defines your entire life (and on the opposite of the spectrum, that goes for the most macho of tough guys who wouldn't be caught dead doing anything remotely unmanly, too). There is more to everyone than that. I hope that explains what I was trying to say more thoroughly. My first comment was not intended to be malicious.

Re: April 20th – yeah? well heteros have killed and shamed us for years, so i think we're entitled to parody anything we want. chances are it'll be better than the original anyway.

Re: Dixie77 – i understand but i feel like if this was a woman it would be vulgar but it wouldnt be a big deal. when a woman gets slutty its fine and dandy but if gays give it a go people make a big deal and make comments like Revolennon's they dont want to "throw gay in your face" theyre just having fun . lighten up people, lets not make this an issue. once again, if it was a woman, no one would say she was "throwing straight in your face" would they?
