Dexter Ends Well!

In more ways than one! (Seriously, last night's finale was like a basket of sunshine compared to last year's!)

Last night's Dexter season finale reportedly brought in a total of 2.5 million viewers. Though the numbers are about the same as last year's epic season finale, will go down as the the highest-rated season of Dexter to date, averaging 5 million viewers per week!

Excellent! Let's try and keep the momentum up for season six!

What'd U think of last night's finale?

I enjoyed it, and unlike last year I am not freaking out. It was good the way Deb left it. I also like Rita on her new show. I actually like her better. Goodbye Jordan Chase!

I thought it was PERFECT. Though I did find it sad that Loomin decided to leave him. But that is the way it should have been. Im excited to see what Dexter has in store for us next season!

jeez, another season. smh i downloaded the entire series because a buddy of mine told me about the show & i can't even make it halfway through the second season without falling asleep repeatedly. its no wonder bryan cranston kept taking home the emmy for breaking bad all those years in a row.

I liked the ending, but I was sad to see Loomin go. Maybe they'll keep in touch. I loved her character, I didn't like Rita at all though. I was happy to see her go. I wonder how he's going to handle all the kids by himself though.

Loved it. The relationship was Lumen was kind of expected but worked out so well, I think she will be back. It was an awesome season finale. Last year was so great too but sad.

I'm glad it wasn't as emotionally taxing as last year! Overall I liked it and can't wait to see the direction they take in season 6!

It was lame….nothing to be excited about.

That doesn't seem right. The finale had only 2.5 million viewers, but the show averaged 5 million for the season? It sounds like it's going in the wrong direction if those numbers are right. Why would 5 million people usually watch it, and then only 2.5 for the last one of the season?

loved it. glad it wasn't a big downer like the last one. it was hopeful but still twisted.

I think it was great. Last season's ending left me sad for the entire year. My husband was disappointed and was hoping Dexter would get caught to make season 6 interesting. I really liked him and Lumen together and was hoping they would stay together. One thing that baffles me, is how were they having Harrison's birthday party, when he was born in the summer? This time last year, Harrison was like 6 months old.

The writers chickened out big time on this episode. Love me some Dexter, but I wish SOMETHING had happened — Quinn stayed in jail or Deb discovered Dexter. There's no way things tie up that neatly.

The best season of Dexter yet.

The best season yet! Absolutely fantastic! Julia Stiles was brilliant, I wonder if she caused the divorce between Dexter and Deb? Apparently they've been fighting off set all season. It's sad. can't wait for next season though, wooo!
