Hidden Messages Found In Da Vinci's Mona Lisa!

hidden messages found in mona lisa

Looks like Dan Brown may have material for another Da Vinci Code book after reading about this!

Members of Italy's National Committee for Cultural Heritage have revealed that they've found letters and numbers in the Mona Lisa's eyes, which can only be seen by magnifying high resolution images of the painting.

Here's what President of the Comittee, Silvano Vinceti, had to say about it:

"To the naked [eye] the symbols are not visible but with a magnifying glass they can clearly be seen."

Pretty wild stuff! Is Robert Langdon or Nicolas Cage available to investigate?

Full story at the DailyMail, where Mario steals most of his stories now a days. Mario = Troll = Fail.

  14. 14

lol art historians and curators worldwide have done x rays and scanned each layer of this painting…why would they find "symbols" now? Bullshit.

  15. 15

says: #13 color- burnt umber #11 mars black #9 titanium white. Conclusion they found out it was the Bob Ross master paint set kit.

    Re: the real carmen
ok first of all..Dan Brown is the author of the book. Morons. Secondly, You're not allowed to take pictures of the Mona Lisa so your story is bogus. And so is your grammar.

  17. 17

    recession! tourism!

  18. 18

You people are all fucking idiots. 1) Mario (or his sister) made such a stupid mistake; 2) You can take pictures in the Louvre and of the Mona Lisa; and 3) an historian recently found a very old book referencing the letters and/or numbers in the eyes so they checked.

Re: Kiltmaker – Up until 2006 a person could take photos in the Louvre…I have a photos throughout the museum and saw a lot of people take photos of the Mona Lisa…with the thick glass surrounding it, I cannot imagine those photos turn out very well…but until cameras were banned, people did take photos in the museum.

  20. 20

Wow 5 people who didn't get the Nick Cage reference to National Treasure.. Poor Nic…

  21. 21

    Re: girlwleopard

    Lmfao! That made my night.

  22. 22

Why do people act like the mona lisa painting is the key to the universe mysteries?

  23. 23

tom hanks. and you get paid for this?

  24. 24

all you that said tom hanks are fucking stupid; DAN BROWN WROTE THE BOOK. TOM HANKS STARRED IN IT. perez is right. suck shit

  25. 25

    TOM HANKS, STUPID

  26. 26

Re: Izzybellaz – no hun..what the dumbasses are complaining about is something else…they didnt get the national treasure reference

  27. 27

    Re: girlwleopard – Hahahaha.

  28. 28

First of all your all idiots!!!> duh the author is Dan Brown>>we weren't debating on that….and robert langdon is the name of the character that TOM HANKS played…and there is NO national treasure reference..wow!!

  29. 29

perez needs to get his facts straight

  30. 30

Re: smurfilicious24 – Dude are you seriously so naive? or just trying to cover your own mistake? NICOLAS CAGE IS THE NATIONAL TREASURE REFERENCE…perez didnt say Robert Langdon (nicholas cage), he said robert langdon OR nicholas cage…

  31. 31

Re: hcoboy – but once again wtf does "national treasure reference" have to do with the MONA LISA>>>>the mona lisa was an italian "treasure" NOT american…AND if you've seen National Treasure movies, which i believe you have.. you would realize they only deal with AMERICA!!!… so there Perez made an error and said WRONG NAME!!!! >:o

  32. 32

Re: smurfilicious24 – dude your just diging urself deeper into this shit…you are making the matter a whole more complicated and into the subject of what nation did what….he is just referencing that both the fucken movies have the same thematic, they both do the whole "a clue a clue" thing with historical items thats all he meant…you know perez is not stupid enough to actually confuse nicholas cage with tom hanks when he thinks nicholas cage's movies are flops in comparison to hanks…

  33. Sane1 says – reply to this

    33

Nic Cage? Don't you mean Tom Hanks? Let's get your Professors of Symbolism right….

  34. 34

My mom was born and raised in Paris! We have lot's of pictures from when she was younger before moving to the United States. Back in the day you could take pictures. There is a story that there is a second painting they sometime show. They keep the real one under lock and key. Just stories I've heard throughout the years. I can say I've seen the real mccoy and she's not bad either.

  35. 35

maybe next time someone can make sure they have the rights actors name! its Tom Hanks who plays Robert Langdon,… NOT Nicholas Cage

  36. 36

Re: chelseadall – hun he was referencing national treasure by saying nicolas cage

  37. 37

    Tom Hanks …..dumbass
