Pink Denies Water Birth Plans On Her Twitter

pink denies water birth reports

Looks like Pink is NOT on the same page as In Touch Weekly.

The singer is denying a story from the publication, which claims that she's planning on having a water birth.

Here's what In Touch wrote about Pink's delivery plans, after getting the scoop from "a friend" of the singer's:

“Pink is opting for a water birth when she delivers her firstborn next spring. She did her research and decided that a water birth worked for her."

And here's what the singer had to say in response via Twitter:

"My mom just told me that "in touch" has informed her that she is invited to my delivery, and that I want a water birth. She asked me if she needs to get a snorkel. This is all news to me. Amazing. Good reporting."

Well, that's awkward for In Touch. We're not sure who this "friend" was, but somebody def messed up there!

Thoughts???

So not sanitary! Away from a hospital surrounded by bacteria while an open wound is birthinag a human, smart. Women that have done this without an illness following are fortunate as it appears unsanitary.

my sister has had two natural births one was water birth and she has fantastically happy children that were ill at all .. a proper midwife maintains sanitary levels and hygiene and the hospital and all its forced bs is only on standby if needed… no drugs and no effed up kids just happy calm kids

P!nk shouldn't have any complications anyway… She's fit and energetic enough, it should make for an easy birth… Who cares how she ends up having the baby delivered, as long as it's healthy?!

Re: SwisKris – Are you stupid? Water births happen in hospitals every day, infact there are specific birthing pools or tubs for water births to occur in at the hospital or maternity unit. And for the record, a vagina/cervix is not an open wound. I, like many many other women, birthed my baby in water and it certainly was not unsanitary. Nor have either my son or I suffered from any infections or illnesses! Sounds like you don't have a clue whatsoever..

Yikes- I live in the middle of nowhere and I would have had a water birth (Birthing tub was in my suite on the maternity wing like all the other rooms) but couldn't because I had my babies too fast. I even had that in my birth plan I wrote with the doctor for the hospital staff should he not be there. I would imagine in the water it would hurt less, but personally I wouldn't do any kind of birth unless it was in a hospital setting.
