Bravo's Andy Cohen Gets A Promotion!
Wow! What a nice little promotion right before the holidays!
Bravo's Andy Cohen has reportedly been promoted to executive vice president of original programming and development at the Bravo network!
According to Frances Berwick, the president of Bravo media, Cohen will continue to oversee the network's original programming, as well as keep his hosting and executive producing positions on the talk show, Watch What Happens!
Berwick continues:
"Under Andy's leadership and industry expertise, Bravo has enjoyed record ratings and an increase in original programming while attracting the most affluent and educated audience in cable entertainment. With this well-deserved promotion, tirelessly wearing two hats, I have no doubt that he will continue successfully to drive the next cultural hits for Bravo, as well as host the popular interactive hit show, Watch What Happens: Live."
Wow! He must really love being on camera if he's willing to continue on his show, given the promotion!

But either way, he still deserves the promotion!

Andy Cohen has destroyed what was once a great channel. I'm sorry, I love the Housewives, but they should have set up another channel for the reality garbage. Bravo used to be highly respectable and showed the best films and movies, uncensored, and things like Inside the Actor's Studio and similar shows. It was the Rolls Royce of movie channels - now it is trash TV 24 hours a day. It's a shame executives at Bravo sold out for ratings and trash. And Andy Cohen is unbearable to watch on his talk show, the guests make it great, but he is terrible.

He can be funny but he's also kind of annoying…during all of the Housewife reunions, he always stares at the camera in a really intense and creepy way when he reads off the teleprompter. At least make it look a LITTLE less obvious.
