Jon Favreau Confirms Leaving Marvel For Disney, No More Iron Man From Him!
We knew it was happening, but it's still unfortunate!
Unfortunately, Jon Favreau will not direct Iron Man 3 for Marvel Studios. The direct and the studio just did not have the same vision.
Favreau Tweeted:
“It's true, I'm directing Magic Kingdom, not Iron Man 3. I've had a great run with Marvel and wish them the best.”
Wonder if the third installment will be any good without him?! And we'd be curious to know who will replace him.

Favreau is a comics fan, so this seems weird. I hope Marvel is not going in the direction of making shi*ty movies (as in trying to appeal to all generations,genders and races…and nevermind the story or the original vision)

Well that sounds like a GREAT idea considering that Iron Man 2 was a very bad movie.
