Re: chlyn – I CAN ADD TO THAT TOO. SHE'S A REAL PERSON HE MET WHEN HE WAS YOUNG AND WORKING ON A FILM IN LIKE OREGON OR SOMEWHERE LIKE THAT. HE FIRST SAW HER WHEN SHE HAD TWO BLACK EYES AND A BROKEN NOSE, I THINK FROM A CAR ACCIDENT. HE ASKED HER FOR A DATE WHEN HE FIRST SAW HER. AWESOME.

Judging from the photo, it looks like a publicity still from "The Last Picture Show," Peter Bogdanovich's seminal b&w movie about smalltown Anarene, Texas and its colorful denizens. The big A on the jacket is a dead giveaway. Great movie, and wonderful actor.
