Disney Asks Brit Brit And Justin Timberlake To Mentor Their Child Stars!

| Filed under: Justin TimberlakeBritney SpearsDisneyYoung Hollywood

We think this is a pretty great idea! Nobody knows what it's like better than they do!

Disney execs are apparently looking to prevent their younger stars from having meltdowns in the wake of the Demi Lovato 'incident,' and have reportedly asked former child stars - and exes - Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake to come in and speak with the up-and-comers!

A source reveals:

'Justin and Britney have been asked if they would like to come in and speak to their younger counterparts about the tribulations of being famous so young. The Disney bosses think that if they have people to look up to they might stay on the straight and narrow.’

Ooh! We know that this has nothing to do with this, but we can't help but wonder if they'll finally cross paths again!

Either way, those kids could definitely use some advice from those two! Brit Brit has come so far, and we think that she especially could give some really solid guidance to these young kids on how to keep themselves grounded.

It's just a shame that Disney wasn't doing this from day one.

Oh yeah, it makes perfect sense to have the girl who went crazy for a year & shaved her head be one to Mentor them. Maybe she can advise them how to use the floor as a bathroom. Maybe she can bring along her sister and show them who on the set of their shows they should and shouldn't have sex with.

is disney crazy, brit brit to mentor, maybe about a one day marriage, then a failed marriage and then how to score what ever it was she was on drug wise.

  7. 7

I see you're reading the Enquirer and Star magazines again … the sound you're hearing now is the sound of you scraping the bottom of the barrel for something to post. Like Disney would want Spears to mentor ANYONE. Asshole.

  8. 8

Justin would be a stronger mentor than Britney in the sense that he kept his life together despite his fame.
However, Britney has been through all those hard times and might be able to direct kids away from that sort of lifestyle. Not to mention she's a mother so she might be able to address them in a different way than Justin could.
Don't be so quick to pass her off.

britney and justin were the original disney superstars. I think only britney should do it, i mean she had the worse media/tabliod meltdown ever. Justin is a nice guy, but still irrelevent to some. But hey i doubt they will do this

Hold it for a sec! Where is Dr. Drew Fraudski going to get his clients for his 12-Step Religious Cult treatment show "Celebrity Rehab"? This will put him out of business….

You seriously need to hire an editor to proofread your stories dumb dumb.

"Ooh! We know that this has nothing to do with this, but we can't help but wonder if they'll finally cross paths again!"

We know that this has nothing to do with this…WOW

LMAO, Britney is the last person to be giving advice to anyone. The only thing she could say is don't live your life anything like I have. Justin would be good but he's far to busy. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were Disney but who knows.

  13. 13

Everyone at disney are crazy, justin and britney has issues and they are not fit to be mentors.

  14. 14

    Re: DaRockz

They were not the "original Disney superstars". That would be Annette Funicello and Haley Mills.

  15. 15

Awe this picture is so cute. Makes me wish they had stuck together. Maybe Britney wouldn't have been so loco.

  16. 16

Yeah…. I don't think Disney has thought their cunning plan all the way through.

  18. 18

obviously britney would be there to represent the idea of exactly how NOT to become.

  19. 19

Re: sensfan999 – bwahaha you must have gotten confused exactly where I did..lol I thought I was misreading something. I suppose thats what you get when you come to a website that USED to be really good, and then it was pawned off so partially braindead masterbating monkeys could find "stories to write" in order for the original writer to find..ummm…"fame??" lol

  20. 20

Britney would have a lot to add. She had a public meltdown and then managed to stage an eventual comeback. Justin has had a lot of success and has mostly kept his issues private. The fact is that they both made millions of dollars and kept their careers going heading into their 30s. That might be what Disney is after. Justin isn't doing much these days anyway. How can he say no to the MouseHouse? Britney has a few months before she has to promote her work.

  21. 21

Let's see, a nutball who is too nutty to be not have her father legally in charge of her and an egotistcal repressed gay guy.

  22. 22

This isn't true. but if it were..how is someone who went through something drastic and came from it not a good mentor? I rather hear from someone with a life story than someone who went under the radar in gossip and media.

  23. 23

yes, cause a girl that shaved her head and became an alcoholic is such an amazing choice for lil kids to look up to. If u ask me, Justin is a more wholesome role model than Britney

  24. 24

You think that Britney could give them advice on how to stay GROUNDED!?
You are talking about the girl that went crazy, shaved her head and locked herself in a bathroom with her kids, right? I mean, sure, she could give them advice on coming back from all that shit… but not staying grounded in the first place.

  25. 25

Considering that Britney is a borderline-illiterate moron and had a major meltdown, herself (and still seems to have one toe in the "meltdown pond"), I think it would make more sense for Christina Aguilera to accompany Justin in talking to the Disney kids. She has never gone crazy like Britney, and she has considerably more talent, anyway.

  26. 26

Thank you, XCaliber. My thoughts exactly.

  27. 27

Re: xcalibur – Thank you, XCaliber. My thoughts exactly.

  28. 28

Disney needs to stop exploiting young children, then dumping them as soon they are irrelevant. I think some of the "other" disney alumni should mentor them…the ones who had some fun in the spotlight, then went on to have successful, non show business lives.

  29. 29

Justin yes Britney…………………………BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA….yeah, OK, sure………..not so much,we all KNOW she wont talk to ANYBODY Maybe if they let her LIP SYNC it…and even then DADDY has to approve it first. Plus she is STILL MENTALLY INSANE. So hows that gonna work?? She cant even be alone with her OWN kids……

  30. 30

Justin would be a great example - has he ever fallen apart due to his fame? He's amazing and super talented. I wish him and Brit had stayed together, her life would've been a dream come true. But she had to go and ruin the relationship, and then her life. I mean, K-Fed??? Seriously????? WTF was she thinking? He was married with babies, that's just shameful. All the lives she ruined with her bad decisions - no, she does not deserve to be a role model for children. It's scary enough that her own kids will be looking to her for guidance!

  31. 31

Love Brit Brit but hardly think someone so fragile should be mentoring kids, she should concentrate on her own kids.
Hey, here's an idea, why don't the PARENTS of these young Disney stars provide some guidance. From what I've read it seems that stars like Emma Watson and Dakota Fanning have extremely sensible parents and the result appears to be well adjusted, well educated young women (with their careers firmly on track) not drunken hot messes falling out of clubs and flashing their bits at paparazzi. Maybe Disney should be auditioning parents when they audition kids, weed out any future Lilos/Orange Oprahs

  32. 32

Damn, Britney messed up. Justin and her made such a the perfect couple, until she went bat crazy.

  33. 33

I wouldn't have Britney mentor anything with a pulse.

  34. 34

i think that this is a great idea. britney is a good example of what fame can do to people. but she is also a good example of how to pick yourself up after a downfall. justin can mentor on staying stable and normal. britney is able to teach from bad experiences, while justin is able to teach on avoiding those bad experiences.

  35. 35

I don't think that's a good idea to have these past Disney people come in and 'mentor' them. These kids have to learn what's right and wrong for themselves.

  36. 36

britney is a wonderful role model, she worked extremley hard as a child and when she had her break down she got herself back together and was stronger than ever! .. i suppose katy perry who has to barley wear clothes to get attention is a better role model?

  37. 37

Bring back the MMC for a new generation!!! Loved all three generations and it's time for a fourth!!

  38. 38

Stop saying she has come so far! No one can say that UNTIL or UNLESS Britney gets to live without someone to babysit her sorry ass all day, every day! She is doing "ok" now, because she has people making sure she is. Give her free reign and then time will tell. And there is a reason she & Justin don't cross paths. He wants nothing to do with her!!!!!!!! I'm sure he thanks his lucky stars every day that he is away from this nutcase!
