Back in October, we learned that Natalie Portman was up for the lead role in the Alien prequel, Paradise, AND that the film would rely on suspense rather than tons of
unnecessary creature effects.
Now, we've learned even more news that bodes well for the new Alien: H.R Giger is reportedly joining the film!
For those of you who are unaware, Giger is the genius scupltor/set designer who created the terrifying aliens from the original films.
We definitely hope he ends up working on the film. It'd be great to see more of his horrific handiwork, as opposed to the CGI aliens from the latest addition to the franchise, Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem, which seemed more like a Dawson's Creek episode than an Alien sequel.
Let's hope they do it right this time.
