I`m confused, while I do agree with the young mans ideals i have no idea what "get pride" is, therefor I have no idea how to comment. Can someone please explain to me what "get pride" is?!

  2. 102

even if hes wrong about the song

hes right about her being a demented cow wholl do and say anything to gain attention …(kesha_)

shes not a star in my eyes shes just A BIG NOTHING AND GOT THE WORST BIKINI BODY OF ANY STAR!!!! and she copies britney but britney isnt stupid like her

all of you are ignorant. stop taking things so seriously. i'm tired of people saying shit like "it's because i'm black, white, gay, lesbian, etc". it's people's actions that create stereotypes and problems. if everyone lived life not worrying about what people thought of them, everything would be a lot easier. stop making yourself a minority, your calling yourself out. if you want to "fit it/blend in" then do it, yes you should love and appreciate who you are, but don't make yourself out of the ordinary. damn i love this site, but stop being so fucking stupid and being fucking retarded. so what we call people stupd, dumb, retarded, etc. don't you think those words are offensive to people mentally handicap? before you start thinking of the offensive things other people may say that are probably misconstrued think of what you say on the daily. thanks ignorant dipshits, and i hope all of you are offended by this =)

Re: lafuriaroja – finally someone with a brain

What an articulate guy. I wish some of the people who posted above me actually watched the whole video before they considered posting in Kesha's defence. The speaker makes his point really well without attacking her.

  6. 106

I feel bad for him. Just because the song wasn't intentionally aimed at that community doesn't mean the lyrics weren't offensive. When I first heard the song I didn't get that message, but he may have heard it differently, and he's completely entitled to his opinion. Also, people who have nothing to be offended by tend not to recognize when something is offensive-so maybe if you're not part of the transgender community you don't get it.

  7. 107

This man said that he knew it wasn't her intent to offend anyone, and he said that he knew it wasn't about transgendered people…He said that it harms the transgendered community without intent…Just thought I'd point that out as a lot of you people seemed to have missed that.
It's sort of like using the word 'gay' as an insult. It hurts the gay community, but it doesn't intentionally hurt them as it's not directed towards them. That's the point he's trying to make. He thinks that people need to make more songs about men having vag's being cool and I agree. But I don't think he shouldn't insulted her and called her names…It was obvious that she didn't mean to hurt anyone.

Re: Nicole Lovato – I am so glad that I'm not the only person who noticed that…People are still saying "but omg,t he song isn't about that"…Well he mentioned that. They obviously didn't watch the video.

  9. 109

I'm all for the gay community, the LGBT and all that, but the kid is being a drama queen!! the song has nothing to do with that!! he just wants attention, so he is twisting shit around for his own intrest.. dude seriously needs to get a life!!

  10. 110

Well done. Took courage and I applaud you for your bravery in telling it like it is.

  11. 111

First, he did not take the song out of context. As stated MANY times in other comments, he is saying that he is aware that she did not mean the comment that way. He is saying that he is aware she meant no harm. However, it caused harm. When you aren't part of the minority group, it doesn't affect you. It is a simple psychological/sociological issue called white privilege/heterosexual privileged. When you are a part of a privileged group, you don't see the negativity. You don't have to deal with it. It is easy to push it off as being whiny about something. However, when you are part of a the minority group you notice things that are offensive that other people do not notice.

  12. 112

He is right about the bottom surgery. It is very, very, very expensive, and it is NOT covered by insurance. There are many teenagers that are kicked out on the street when they tell their families they have desires to change their sex. They don't have these resources, but they have the right to be who they are.

Also, I am fucking sick and tried of the word "retard" being thrown around like nothing on this website. When you grow up and have a child with cerebral palsy, you would kill someone if they pointed at them and said, "that kid is retarted." Think about that.

Bottom line - It doesn't matter if it is offensive to all of you. This person felt like it was offensive, and he has the right to say that. I think it is brave to speak out alone. I don't agree with everything he said, but at least he is trying to make a difference about something he believes in.

Re: mw4vt9 – so if I pointed at the kid and said "that kid is mentally handicapped.", that would be ok? There's nothing wrong with calling someone retarded because it's what they are. Boo Hoo he can't afford surgery to have a dick.. this is ridiculous fuck the .0000001% of the population and who gives a fuck if they're offended.. suck a dick heshes

  14. 114

I hate comments on here, everyone is so hateful. BTW I think he's sorta hot…

  15. 115

Re: mac14 – That person isn't talking about someone pointing at a handicapped person and calling them 'retard', they're talking about using the word 'retard' to slander someone who isn't and use it as an insult. Basically by doing stuff like that you're making it worse for that group of people…It's like calling someone you don't like 'gay' as an insult. It effects the homosexual community, for example.

  16. 116

Re: yay4shanghai1 – Agreed on both parts :-D

  17. 117

Re: heyheyitskaykay – I agree and he's is entitled to his opinion, and people should just realize when they post on this board, half the people don't want to hear their opinions either :)

Re: thatdoodjohn – EXACTLY! thank you

  20. 120

Why must so many of you be so harsh towards him? He's just telling us how these lyrics made him feel plus he's getting his message to the public. Personally I think Kesha would be hurt that he took the song the wrong way and if I were her I'd be reaching out to him as soon as I heard this. She would never want him to feel bad about her song.

  21. 121

Did he seriously just use the c word.. This kid is a MORON.

  22. 122

to all the retards saying its not about gays and whatever SHE SAID IT WAS thats why people are saying its about that. perhaps gays wouldn't make it about that if this country just lived up to its notion of equality without having to take it to courts every time.

  23. 123

Whether or not you agree with what this person is saying, what ANY person is saying, as you are speaking to or about another human being you need to speak with respect. Calling people names like 'idiot' and 'moron' will not help get your point across. It simply makes you look hateful and stupid.
I'm biased, because I can't stand Ke$ha, so I won't comment on the actual song.
But let's all share our opinions respectfully. We're all human.

  24. 124

If you're gay/lesbian I understand and accept that, because I think love doesn't see a gender. But why group the transgendered people in with them??? Transgender people don't feel as though they are gay/lesbian but rather a straight person 'trapped' in the 'wrong' body…that to me is a mental issue. Sorry, I know I will take flack for that, but that's how I see it. Deal with who you are! Altering your body to me is just WRONG!

  25. 125

…If you have a vagina between your legs… Doesn't that make you a female? So wouldn't this person be proud to be a female dressed like a boy with a vagina?
Funny video… Hope your happy you got your few mins lady… You gave me a good giggle! =)

  26. 126

I swear this was my first time hearing kesha and it sound just like she looks.. awful. Lmao he probably spend hours thinking his well thought out letter for nothing.

  27. 127

maybe you should grow some thicker skin along with a thicker vag. Jeez, it's a fucking song… gay people are way tooooo dramatic

  28. 128

to the people who said she wasn't intending to offend: he said that, you don't really need to point it out. Is he drawing alot of conclusions from thin air? Yes. Is he making "mountains out of molehills"? You bet.

  29. 129

this is so out of place!! even if the song was an insult to the transgenders… he is DOING THE EXACT SAME THING!! he is insulting her!! o if he thinks she can say whatever she wants then let her be… this guy is…. no.. I wont do the same thing he is doing!

I think this "guy" in the video is embracing his too sensitive feminine side.
And men don't have vaginas, transvestites do.

  33. 133

I think the person's point was for Ke$ha to realize that she has to pay closer attnetion to the phrases she says because some of her fans may be truly and deeply offended. Music should be an oasis for the fans and if a song reminds them of their daily stuggle in society then that song hasn't helped them in any way. So I think Ke$ha should listen to what this person ahs to say and just makee sure that she's a bit more careful in the future. And yes I do know what the message of the song was. But if we continue to use these terms in everyday language people will never learn. It's simmialr to saying "that's so gay!" I think we all should reevaluate the way we speak.

  34. 134

SHE SPOKE THE TRUTH, EXCLAMATION! (like nicki would say) lmao!

  35. 135

If this person wants to be a man, then he needs to act like one.A real man would not be griping about some Kesha song.Get over it.

  36. 136

The boy who made the video apparently has deleted his YouTube account, as well as other accounts on the internet. Not sure what to make of this, but it might have something to do with all the hate.
