No Illegal Drugs Found At Teena Marie's Home
As authorities investigate the unexpected death of R&B singer Teena Marie, law enforcement sources have confirmed that there were no illegal drugs found in her home.
Autopsy and toxicology tests are expected to be performed on her body next week, but for now, the theory is that she died of natural causes.
So sad.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this truly difficult time.

I am just absolutely blown away by this. Teena is one of my favorite singers of all time. I thank God I had the pleasure of seeing this amazing talent perform once in my life. Teena was one of the greatest R&B /Soul singers ever! Right up there with Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight as far as I'm concerned. In the African-American community, Teena is a legend and a rare and precious treasure to us all.She was a true blue-eyed souled genius and will be greatly missed! I can't believe Ms. Teena is gone at Christmas. Wow! May you rest in eternal peace, Lady T. We will always love you! *heartbroken.*
