Amazing, as always!

Check out Jennifer Hudson singing I'm Here from The Color Purple as a tribute to Oprah Winfrey on last night's broadcast of the Kennedy Center Honors. (above)

The Big O specifically requested JHud for the tribute - and what Oprah wants, Oprah always gets!

Did she sing "Bring me some fried chicken bitch"? That is one of Big O's faves

  2. 2

Jennifer looks amazing. Better than before she had the baby. She is incredibly talented!

    Love Love Love Jennifer Hudson!!!!!!

Rupert Everett is a whiny, bitch old woman. The tired old piece needs to shut his crusted butt

  4. 4

    Ugh…more O…ooooover .

  5. 5

She also sang "I'm skinnier than you now bitch"

What Oprah really wants is to eat out Gayle's STINKY SMELLY TWAT!!!

I wonder why Oprah didn;t choose Fantasia instead since she was the one who performed it on Broadway but anyway Jennifer's rendition was just as good if not better.

Jennifer is a class act. She is a true Diva. What a voice! Barrack needs to be a president andvwuit going to parties and social events. So over him. So long in 2012!

  9. 9

wow she has amazing vocals :)

Fantasia is not up there because she has a lot of self examination to do before she can be asked on Oprah's stage. Jennifer looks staggeringly beautiful. And lest the arrows fly on that last comment, I thought she was staggeringly beautiful before the weight loss.

the "sound" of her voice is awful. Sure she can blow and scream and shout.

I thought Stadman was history but he is featured here. Is he on her payroll or has he opened an escort Oprah portfolio?

Re: Noah Doubt – On "Oprah's stage"? Who is she, God? I swear, people treat this woman as if she is the Second Coming. Oprah did not have a perfect past either. She made many mistakes along the way and had a lot of self examining to do too in her 20's and 30's before she got to where she is.She can give Fantasia that same opportunity.Choosing Jennifer Hudson over Fantasia to sing the song that Fantasia made famous on Broadway was a mean, nasty and uncalled for insult.

Re: iloverickymartin – I think he had some beef with Jennifer Aniston, not Jennifer Hudson lol. But you're right, he does need to shut up.

I watched it last night and she was amazing. If they ever do the life of Arthra Franklin she should play the part.

Wow, that was amazing! It was spiritual. I never comment, I just read, and laugh and continue. I think it's a little sad that I go through all the steps to sign in and leave a comment and no one will ever even read it or care what I say, but I just found that so beautiful and moving. You hear the expression " tears streaming down your face" and you don't really know what that is,
then it happens to you. Jennifer Hudson has a gift, and I appreciate it. It's funny that I had such an emotional moment on Perez Hilton! So weird. No one will ever know or care except for me.

Well you can say theres nothing better than the original singer performing the song. JEN CAN SING. BUT FANTASIA REALLY OWNS THIS SONG.

  19. 19

Wow, Jennifer Hudson looks great. And what a voice!

JENN IS STILL THICK… THEY SAY SHE HAS A SIZE 4 BOD BUT HER ARMS DEF. LOOK SIZE 10+. WTF?? WEIRD ASS PROPORTIONS.

  21. 21

Wow that brought tears to my eyes! So beautiful

  22. 22

Loved the lyrics AND the performance..amazing!

THAT WAS AN INSPIRED PERFORMANCE……BREATHTAKING, I WONDER HOW FANTASIA FEELS ABOUT THE DIS, SINCE SHE DID THE SHOW IN L.A. AND ON BROADWAY…..
