We’ve been hearing about Paris Hilton’s second album for a while now, but this is some pretty big news for the socialite-turned-singer!
It turns out Paris has officially signed a deal with Cash Money Records, home to other big names, including Lil’ Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake!
The label's founder, Birdman, confirmed the news on Twitter earlier today:

Who? Never heard of them. Never heard their music. Must be some irrelevent 90's boyband that never made it stateside.
I'm pretty sure most of these sales come from the UK and Europe. It's not a big thing to beat the Bealtes or MJ in sales on Amazon. Most people go out and buy those peoples' albums rather than look for it on the Internet.
Sounds like more people who seem to think America is the be-all-end-all of music. "Never heard of them" "schmucks" "irrelevant"? I can't help but laugh a little inside. I think the U.K. and a few European countries would beg to differ. Take that is one of the best selling groups around the world. There are plenty of VERY successful artist worldwide that remain relatively unknown in the states. Just because you've never head of them doesn't make them any less significant. I don't like their music at all but I certainly wouldn't assume they're "garbage" if I never heard of them. Having an opinion is one thing but making unfounded assumptions is another.
