mitsubishi launches biggest mass produced large tv set

Wow.

Mitsubishi has just unveiled their newest TV, a 92-inch, 135 pound set, which has become the largest mass-produced TV on the market.

With 16 speakers and 3D movie-playing capability, this looks like one impressive set…and given its massive size and features, it's surprising that it's going to cost somewhere in the vicinity of $5,000.

Here's what Mitsubishi's senior manager of brand marketing Nick Norton had to say about it:

"This is really the first time we've taken the complete 3D cinema experience and been able to bring it into people's homes."

SO cool! We're thinking those 3-D Disney blu-rays should look pretty spectacular on this set.

Would U want such a big TV at your place? Would U have anywhere to put it?

I am sure that most people could find a place to put it, but can you imagine how much electricity it would cost to run?

THIS is the reason (well one of the MAIN reasons) why Americans are soooo dumb. We'd rather spend countless amounts of hours watching stupid shit on Tv instead of EDUCATING yourselves on how our government runs and why OUR GOVERNMENT WANTS TO KEEP ALL OF ITS SHEEP (us) DUMBDOWN. They want us to focus on STUPID crap like this so that they can continue to RAPE the American public with their laws. We are soooo consumed with Kim Kardashian turning into the next Paris Hilton that all the DISHONEST activities our government does towards us, we just sit here and take it.
PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! Atleast catch up to our European neighbors.

There can never be a TV that is too big! It's funny because I don't even have basic cable, but I will splurge on a very nice TV. I like movies :D Though I really don't watch them that often. When I do, I like a nice set to watch on however.

I have the Samsung PN63C8000 63" Plasma 3D HDTV and it is AWESOME!
92" would be a tad too big for my living room though.

I barely watch TV anymore. Would look nice in my house, though.

I have a 60 inch Mutsubishi 3D HDTV and I love it. My guess is this 90 inch one would be a projection TV, hence the relatively low price.

My guess is it would be a lot lower than you'd expect. If it's a projection TV, that is. They consume less power than LCD.

Re: minardcm – Oh I am however, we need to start with the dumbest of the DUMBEST and thats on sites like this. Legislatures across the US approve soo much celebrity crap to be broadcasted on Tv bc it keeps the sheep interested in this and not on their shaddy activities.
