I hate these actors/actresses that try to crossover and think they're rock stars all of the sudden. I know it's another way of marketing herself and making money, but it's so fake. What instrument does she play? How many songs has she written her self? You can tell this song is full of effects that make her voice sound better. Anyone can be a pop star like that.

I really enjoy this song despite it being completely auto-tuned. People have to take it for what it is, a fun catchy song.

her voice is weak. why does she have to do a single? she should just stick to doing her stupid tv show for kids and after that maybe possibly disappear into the kid actor/actress vault for failed actors.

kind of an insult to the girl saying she sounds like Avril. I mean, the girl is young..ergo she is making music for her demographic (the Nickelodeon crowd), Avril is like 30 or something still making music like she did a decade ago. This girl is just being a kid jumping on the "if it worked for Miley…" bandwagon and how can blame her - milk the cash cow while it's ready.

Nice, I'll have my daughter download it from Itunes. I don't like the talking part though so maybe not. She actually has a pretty voice. I just hope she doesn't go the way of the crazy Disney sluts….Brittany, Lindsay, Christina, Demi, Vanessa, Miley…………sheeze! So far only Raven has turned out pretty good.

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
