Live To Dance Not Living For The Ratings On Night 2!

Yikes! Sorry, Paula.

On just the second episode of Paula Abdul’s Live To Dance, ratings sank 25% from its premiere on Tuesday night. According Nielsen ratings, it was barely enough to finish third place in the 8p.m. hour.

But it wasn't a bad night for TV! ABC and NBC both did well for the night as their comedies were up double-digits compared to their last original episodes.

Better luck next time, honey.

Love Paula, and the other judges are ok, but two hours on the first night was a burn-out and I stopped actually watching for an hour in the middle of it as it got boring. Then I was absolutely shocked to see it on again last night because of the previous night's burn-out, but still watched it anyway. The Judges' picked acts both nights to go on that I would have gonged off the show. So it is hard to figure out where they are going with this. I voted online, but it was a big jerk-around. Not sure I will be a fan.

I tuned in for about 5 minutes and was bored off my ass. Fail!

I absolutely agree with debracompassion. I watched the first night but two hours was waaaaay to long and slow. It was boring in parts and hard for me to make it through to the end. The set seemed pretty tacky, too. Thankfully I DVR'd it so I could fast forward. However, I didn't realize there was a "night two" on the day after. Wouldn't have watched day two anyways…

Oh shit. I didn't know it was two nights in a row. My bad. Well, I'm sure others like me are the reason it went down.

Some of the acts that they passed up, shocked me (Robot comedian middle aged woman - WTF? Why didn't she go through!?) and others I was like…really? I don't know what the hell they're looking for. But the salsa dancing 9 year olds were AMAZING

I caught three second of this and realized it was total shit.

So You Think You Can Dance is a lot better. This was boring. It's already been done, and done well. Part of the fun is watching the weirder auditions. This show didn't have much of that. Does anyone in TV have an original idea left?

I'm not a fan. Too long the first night and just boring both nights. I won't be watching from here on in. I don't think Paula thought this one out long enough. And the guy who annouces with the accent, go back to where you came from. He is really out of place on that show. And the female judge, her hair is really something to laugh about. It's ridiculous.

Poor Paula…she checked the "crazy/fun" at the door and the audience bolted. But it wasn't all her fault: Travis Payne is just plain creepy, there was zero chemistry between the judges and the host was a trying waaaay too hard. Next!
