Sir Paul McCartney is reportedly set to perform at the Royal wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton!
Sources close to the Beatles singer have revealed that he's been approached, and accepted, the honor, although nothing has been finalized yet!
The insider explains:
"William and Kate have chosen their wedding list and Paul McCartney is their number one choice to perform. They can't think of anyone more perfect to kick off proceedings. Prince William is following in his mother Princess Diana's footsteps by inviting a host of famous friends to join him on his wedding day. Paul McCartney has been asked to do a few numbers and he said he feels very privileged."
As he should! What an unbelievable opportunity!
This wedding reception is going to be completely off the hook! We want to go!

in every sense - intellectually , creatively, ethically. Paul McCartney is the
antithesis of a member of the Royal family. He is a working class Liverpool lad
who through innate talent and perseverance became a songwriting genius and
member of the greatest band ever. He deserves a better audience.
