Buy! Buy! Buy! Tivo Is Hot Again!

Anybody who bought TiVo stock before Wednesday is DEF in celebration mode right now.
Thanks to TiVo CEO Tom Rogers talking up the company's new Premiere DVR box, their stock is soaring!
Yesterday, TiVo stock jumped 80 cents to $9.85/share!
The new box is being marketed as a media hub that will not only record shows, but it will also include YouTube videos, Netflix streaming, Amazon streaming, and many other third-party applications.
Pretty cool. Should be inneresting to see how much higher TiVo stock ends up going!
Will U pick up some TiVo shares before they make another massive jump?

What the fuck? You make it sound like the stock doubled or something. THIS IS NOT NEWS. Are you pumping your own stocks now, Perez?
8 people that come to this site purchase stock.
TIVO rocks!!!!!!! Soooooooo much better than those cable company DVRs. Also the company has always been cool about people hacking the boxes to put in bigger hard disks. No lockouts like on Apple's iPhone.
Um, I've had a Tivo Premiere for almost a year now. Not news.
Love the site and read it every day but this is bull, a ton of other things do what tivo does now , what makes it better? Can it do on demand? No. Feels like you bought stock and want it to go up. Not saying that's bad but be up front. And stop being nice, the people your dealing with could give a crap about us and we look for you to tell/find out the real deal. You might have gotten to close to who your reporting on, who are your clients? Love ya, paco.
My old Tivo plays web videos, Amazon videos and Netflix streaming. The reason the stock is hot again is due to the lawsuits they won against Dish Network and cable companies using their software and patents, but not paying royalties and fees.
Tivo is a great company to own. I canceled my dvr digital cable box and am using the Tivo now that Time Warner raised their rates per month starting in January.
I love my Tivo!!
Any stock under $10.00 is like buying fool's gold. BFD..stock jumped 10%. But its fundamentals are terrible…absolutely terrible. Know of what you write before you post. Buy on emotion and you might as well buy a lottery ticket.
wow okay you have zero integrity - it's clear you own tivo stock, first off - The Premiere is a year old and generally considered a failure - it's interface is slow, only parts of it are HD (despite it being touted as an HD interface) and it's capacity is still low. It's also the first tivo to REQUIRE you have high speed internet or it will not work. Like the other poster, I have had this for a year, and I own an older TIVO HD. They do pretty much the same thing, play amazon, netflix, pandora, youtube (which is shitty even on my 30 Mb cable connection) - The ceo can talk it up all he wants - it has been a failure - so much so they dropped the price to zero if you agree to pay 20 bucks a month for 2 years…LOL.
I love my tivos but - they cost too much for the service when all these "extras" I can get on my PS3, which also plays blu rays, can stream movies and gets hulu plus (something tivo does not)….
Lame dude pushing stock you own and possibly illegal if you have the ability to influence stock price as a media outlet and you report skewed info…
go back to shoving Chezza down our throats.
I LOVED
I loved TiVo, until two years ago when I switched from cable to Directv, which TiVo does not support (NO satellite!)…Satellite is so much cheaper, better selection of channels, on demand, ect. But I've heard talk of a DirecTivo model that supposed to be available soon so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Hey dummy…do you know that you must disclose if you own this or any other stock when you do this type of story? It is a federal law. Stick to gossip and I think we should all report you to the SEC…It would be nice to see you in jail.
Tivo? Nah. Crude oil when it was at $35.00 a barrel? Yup.
