Wow. This is why Madonna is not a mere diva or just a singer, she's a Queen. Amazing message and contrary to what the haters so (who cares about who she's dating, or who she sleep with 25 years ago) she really does care about making a difference and using her celebrity for good causes. At this point she has nothing left to prove.

Oh barf. The message was great, and good for her, but why that song? There isn't another one? I've always liked her, and in a way it may have been good for her to tackle "Imagine", since it doesn't take a great singer. Still, it's pretty damn hard to separate Lennon from the song, even though he's only been dead for 30 years. I also didn't see any little American kids, even though there are plenty right here who suffer every day. Still, it's more than I've done, so I still love her.

Funny how the ear is trained to expect or want Lennon's voice coupled with the strains of 'Imagine.' Once you intellectually decide to reject expecting Lennon's vocal, and really listen to Madonna's version, there's an ethereal, pure and unflourished rendition here that I've decided that I like very much.

I cannot comprehend the hate in the hearts of the people who are leaving negative comments about this video. There is a man carrying the headless body of a child and you all criticize Madonna's singing voice. WHO THE EFF CARES ABOUT HER SINGING???!!! Fuckin' priorities you sick people! Ohhh my God….I just finished a brilliant new thriller called the Kaibab Resolution which could have been written about this senseless act. It deals with gun law in America, the targeting of politicians and crazy political assassinations. I put the book down and turned on the news to see it all unfold in real life….when is America going to wake up?

Loved this! I think we all need to step back from ourselves and view ourselves as the amazing organism that we humans are. We are also flawed. We can see the external scars from injuries throughout a lifetime. Yep, even pock marks! Internally we're scarred too. We just can't see those scars. Our brain is fragile and attacked by viruses of which we may never be aware. Our reasoning is attacked by life traumas we may not even remember or fully understand. If ANYONE of us manages to come through this difficult life able to take a stand for world peace it's a wondrous miracle. Please, Perez, keep encouraging those who have come through life, no matter how scarred, to take this stand for world peace and even love. Bless you!
