Wonder Woman TV Show Is A No-Go

First it was the movie and now it's the TV show.

David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman has been canned for now as several of the major broadcasters have said "no" to the project.

Sources say that the cost was a huge factor in why the show has been rejected. Wonder Woman has a costly license fee and it's unlikely that a cable network would be willing to pay up.

The project isn't officially dead, however, an insider says it's "not moving forward at this time."

Will a Wonder Woman reboot ever happen? Hmm, it's not looking too good. Maybe that's a good thing.

What do U think?

Just as well, Lynda Carter is the ONLY Wonder Woman.

  2. 2

    Katy Perry?

I would rather see a major motion picture finally, but either way, it would be so hard to top Lynda Carter. But didn't they make a revised THE BIONIC WOMAN as well? And that was awful.

Good! Lynda Carter cannot e replaced…especially not by bug eyed Katy Perry or any of the plastic so-called actresses out there now. She may not have been the original WW, she is definitely the only Wonder Woman.

    GOOD! This is great news.

This means I STILL have a chance!

Wonder Woman is a franchise that went on 35 years before Lynda Carter's show and continues 35 years after her show. She has had a continues comic book run and been in cartoons and novels since the 70's show. It's not really a re-boot like The Bionic Woman. Wonder Woman will end up in a movie or TV eventually just as Batman and Superman does. Superman isn't about Chris Reeve, Dean Cain, Tom Welling or any other actor who played him. Same as Batman and it will be the same as Wonder Woman. Lynda Carter, as great as she was, was just a moment in Wonder Woman's history.

This really sux!!! I need my Amazing Amazon Princess! I love her and want to defect to Themyscira (for those of you not "hip" to the name Themyscira - it is the ancient Greek name for Paradise Island)!!!!

It was doomed from the start. Personally I couldn't see any way of making a quality show out of that franchise. The only reason that people remember the original show was because of how cheesy it was.

Katy Perry looks like Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman!

If they do reboot it they should find a young new actress who has potential to grow in hollywood and make a damn good movie out of it like they did in Spiderman.
