| Filed under: Howard SternGeorge ClooneyLarry KingRicky GervaisPiers Morgan

He must want to ensure that he hits the ground running!

Although it's already been reported that Piers Morgan will be premiering his new CNN show - taking over for Larry King - on January 17th with Oprah Winfrey as his first guest, we're now hearing that the he's got some pretty awesome people following the Big O during his first week on air in the States!

Expect to see Howard Stern, Condoleeza Rice, Ricky Gervais, and George Clooney appearing the week's subsequent episodes!

Amazing! Lots of variety!

Well-played, sir! We're very curious to see how viewers will respond!

Howard Stern's booking on this show is an odd choice. He peaked about 15 years ago.

By this time next month this soon to be flop of a show will be in the sewer along with the rest of CNN's programing. No longer a leader of cable news they are desperately grasping at straws to remain relevent in a 24/7 world news cycle. As for Stern his sold out years ago and like CNN is no longer relevent in the world of talk radio. Miss the Howard of old and can't stand the Howard of new. Sorry Howard though I have Sirius I never tune into hear you these days.

Can't wait to see Howard. He makes me laugh every day. I'd pay twice as much as I do for Sirius just to keep hearing him. He hasn't stopped being a radio genius. As far as Piers goes–Howard's appearance will be the first last, and only time I tune in.
