Good lord, she truly is a powerhouse, isn't she?!

We're completely obsessed!

Check out this AMAZING video of Adele performing an acoustic set - featuring her now-classic Hometown Glory, new tracks Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You - at the XFM Mini-Concert in Manchester on New Year's Day (above)!

All she's doing is sitting on a stool and singing, and we're still completely CAPTIVATED!

Not to mention how personable and HIGHlarious she is in between songs! We LOVE her!

Fantastic job, as always, bb!

Now this is real talent! No auto-tune. No lip-synching. Beautiful!

Adele is amazing. That is true talent right there, not a lot of the other shit out there. And the best part is, she doesn't even really have to try, she's just absolutely flawless. Not forced, not faked, just 100% real. Love her.

Adele is just the epitome of what the music industry should be! I have not seen her live yet but my god I will and she is beyond incredible.

Rihanna and Katy Perry are famous because they are very pretty and have great bodies.
    -
This girl is so fat, her stool must be made out of titanium.
    -
This is not new. There have been plenty of fat, non-telegenic extremely talented people that just aren't marketable because of their weight.
    -
Most black church choirs have members that have voices like angels.
Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Holliday and just a handful overcame this obstacle on sheer, undiluted talent.
    Shame it's this way.

Re: April 20th – What has her weight got do with her career? Shes obviously happy with the size that she is. I think Adele is a fantastic example that talent is something that is so much more important than apearance.

Re: Eclipseheart – really?? seriously?? she's gotten nothing but bigger and if she continues the path she's going, she'll have no career because she'll be dead. I admire Adele's talent and would enjoy hearing it for years to come. Nobody is truly happy with their appearance when they have loads of lard on them…..doesn't matter who you are. You can't tell me this girl would much rather be the size she is than a healthy size 8, 10 or 12. I agree, talent is much more important than physical appearance but one's health is much more PERTINENT than either.
