Sony Pictures Classics Eyes The Rights To New Morgan Spurlock Doc.

This guy always does inneresting work, and this sounds like no exception!

Sony Pictures Classics is reportedly attempting to secure the domestic rights to Morgan Spurlock's new documentary, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, which focuses on the filmmaker as he tries to get companies and brands to sponsor his movie, and is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival!

He explains the film as:

"Everywhere you look it seems like something's being brought to you by some sponsor or some corporation. So we said, 'Why not make a doc that looks at that and have the brands actually pay for it?'"

Sounds fascinating!

We LOVED Supersize Me and Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?, so hopefully this new one will follow suit, and get picked up for distribution so everyone else can see it!

    Please start spelling correctly. You and others are dumbing down the young people of the world. By the way the word is interesting not innersing and pregnant not preggers, which I find offensive. Pigface and your inept writers should go back to grade school and get an education in spelling.

    sounds a bit limited in audience appeal…something for the entertainment crowd. Why is anyone in the boonie/burbs going to care?

    Though I do like some of his work, he'll always be a sham to me. SuperSize Me is one of the biggest farces I've ever seen in the documentary genre. What people don't know about that movie is that he overeats on purpose. In fact, he won't publicly release the nutritional logs he made for the movie because he knows he would lose all credibility if he did.
