Nothing wrong with getting more Brad Pitt on the big screen.

After a bit of a throwdown with some other interested distributors, The Weinstein Company has acquired domestic rights to Cogan’s Trade, a big screen adaptation of George V. Higgins novel starring the Pitt-ster.

Brad plays the title character, Jackie Cogan, a "professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game held under the protection of the mob." Also in the cast are are Brad's Assassination of Jesse James costars Casey Affleck and Sam Rockwell.

With the distributor all set, the flick will start production at the end of February and get an early 2012 release.

Think this might be a flick U'd like to see?

Maybe if he dumps Angie, he'll finally get his career back. The court would award him the kids, given that she's obviously still a junkie.

OMG, Brad looks so much like my old creepy high school English teacher Dr. Kisicki in this picture.

WHOEVER SAID THAT BRAD IS LOOKING LIKE BENECIO DEL TORO THESE DAYS WAS SPOT ON, MAN. OH YEAH AND BY THE WAY, BRAD IS A MEDIOCRE ACTOR AT BEST.

i think pitt is a perfect example of the actor who gets noticed more for looking good and being the media than for any actual talent he might have. his career is anything but strong, and these days he seems more and more like a joke. he's one of those that i wish would retire gracefully, instead of grating everyone's nerves. there's such a thing as overexposure.
