We never considered that this could make the jump to musical theater, but we're excited that it is!

Far From Heaven, the 2002 film starring Julianne Moore as a 1950s housewife who discovers that her husband is gay, is being adapted into a musical, and is set to hit the stage later this year!

Tony Award winner and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Richard Greenberg is reportedly collaborating with Scott Frankel and Michael Korie on the adaptation.

Holy shiz!

We thought that the Todd Haynes film was absolutely stunning, and so we're thrilled to hear that such acclaimed writers are handling its transition to the stage!

We're very excited to see what they have in store!

What do U think?? Are U excited for a Far From Heaven musical??

I love the film but can't see it being a musical.

mario only likes it because it involves something to do with homosexuality………if it was a movie about a woman who found her murdered husband or if she found him cheating with 10 other woman, you'd never see the post on this website…………

My friend was in this movie as Dennis Quaid's son! I loved the film but as a musical I can't really picture it…
