Little J Is Sorry!

taylor-momsen-apologizes-to-her-parents-over-comments-made-about-them-to-press

Uh-oh! Sounds like a certain somebody's parents weren't too happy about a certain someone running her mouth off to the press!

Even though Taylor Momsen wants the world to think that she's mature beyond her 16 years and speaks a little too frankly to the press about things she probably knows very little to nothing about, she's actually back-tracking on the comments she made regarding her folks forcing her into the entertainment business too young, and taking away from her childhood!

She explains:

"[After reading the article, they felt] horrible! I love my mom and dad. Maybe I didn't have the childhood people think you should have, but I still went through the ages, I was still a child. Maybe it wasn't a conventional one, but you know… I like where I am now so it's okay. I think my parents have learned by this point that none of [what they read] is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth."

We're actually very pleased that she did this!

THIS acknowledgement and regard for the feelings of your parents is a true sign of maturity, bb!

It's not always easy to own up to a mistake, and then apologize for it, so we're proud of you!

We guess our Little J really is growing up! LOLz!

Thoughts??

Identifying childhood pain is also a step toward maturity. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that her childhood was sick, which it was. And pay attention to the effects in had on her, Perez, because you contribute to the child star machine.

Why is she even posted??? Who the fuck is she anyway??

Doesn't sound like an apology to me….kinda of missing an I'm sorry in there. Not to mention she DID say those things so saying things were put in her mouth is idiotic. She got caught being a bitch and her parents probably pointed out that she would be a broke teenager if it wasn't for what they did and that's about it. Bottom line - she is a spoiled emo teenager bitch

This is not an apology. She should consider herself lucky. I'm sure there are tons of girls her age that would be more than happy to trade her places.

I don't think she apologized. She blamed other people ! Sad little girl , she is totally effed up.

I look forward to the day she matures a little more, washes her face off, and becomes the beautiful woman that I know she is under there.

This doesnt sound like an apology to me!

Everything she said the first time could have been completely true. You have absolutely no idea what her life is like with her parents. She saw they were upset and changed up what she said some what, but I wouldn't call this an apology and we don't know if what she said was or wasn't true. If she was working constantly as a small child, her parents probably did over work her.

You are/were always on Miley's mom, Lindsay's mom, Brittany's mom, etc (they deserve it btw) for making their kids work from a young age and enabling them. Then they all had breakdowns and it wasn't much of a surprise. She is just saying how she feels and I don't see what is wrong with that.

What apology? You see an apology in there?

I am getting really tired of reading statements from these celebs saying that "the media" put words in their mouth or took their statements out of context. This is absurd! What's-her-nuts here basically gave a monologue on her feelings of her lack of a childhood. These comments were not spliced together or paraphrased. SHE SAID THEM! A note to all celebs: Take responsibility for your actions and words and stop blaming "the media"!

Well, I know she has some wonderful family members… Hi Krista!!

I think I recognize some of the posters down here who were complaining about the Smiths "pushing" Willow into the business…

What she said about her parents was probably true. There really is no point in backtracking; it's already been said.

I think she was raped, but that has little to do with her parents. It's good that she's letting them know they're not to blame.

Firstly, last time I looked, she was 17. Secondly, I really hope this is a sign that she's growing up and recognizing the consequences of saying some things. When she grows up a bit, she'll be awesome. :)
