This is so sad! He's just so young!
Alex Lambert, who competed last season on American Idol and starred on Simon Fueller's If I Can Dream, took his Twitter yesterday to share some disturbing news - he's currently broke and homeless!
Oh no! Poor thing!
He confessed on his page that he's been struggling for awhile and has finally reached the point of complete helplessness. He wrote:
"Alright so I didn't want to bring my person life to my fans but I'm about to freak out if I don't tell yall the truth!Ever since IICD ended I've been kinda homeless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings.I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go back to texas and not do music! I'm usually a strong person but I can't take it anymore. I've been goin to coffee shops and other stores so I can tweet to my snaf! Because to be honest! You guys are all I really have!"
Sweetie, you don't sound "kinda homeless" to us.
You sounds like TOTALLY homeless. Sleeping in alleys? Really? How awful!
He continues on to explain that he could go back to Texas, where his family is from, but that would mean giving up on his dream of playing music. He's not sure if he is ready to do that just yet.
Wow. So strong. We hope this story reaches the right person who can help this poor kid out.
