Halle Berry's Ex Gets Paternity Panic

halle berry and ex deal with gabriels paternity panic

Don't panic, Gabriel, your ex is pretty chill…it's going to be all right.

Last month, Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry became afraid that things might get "rocky" when divvying up time with the former couple's 2-year-old daughter Nahla, so he filed a paternity petition with a judge to "officially declare him" her daddy.

Sources say that it's basically all been figured out, and nobody even had to go to court. Apparently, they worked it out between themselves, and they both seem satisfied with the arrangement.

It's really refreshing to hear that a situation like this can be solved without getting courts involved.

You could learn a thing or two from this former couple, Mel & Oksana!

Ha!

Halle Berry is a hot woman.

If they were married, and then divorced, he would have many protections provided by the law. Couples who play house, have babies, with one foot out the door, have nerve asking courts to sort out their business or protect them. They didn't play by the rules, but the rules should protect their rights. How selfish!

    Re: GothamGirl
It's not about playing by rules, it about protecting his daughter and his rights as her biological father. By virtue of Halle having given birth to her, it indisputable fact that she is her mother. He wants as a matter of record the indisputable fact that he is her father. It's is wiser to do it now rather than later.

Re: GothamGirl – From my outside point of view, it seems that Halle was the one who wanted to "play house" instead of get married. Think about it- she's awesome, gorgeous, famous, and filthy rich, why wouldn't he have wanted to marry her?? The one who's asking for help from the courts is the one who wanted legalities involved in from the get-go.

Is he NOT on the birth certificate? Wouldn't that prove he's Nahla's father? Why we he think he has to go to court for a paternity petition? I don't get it.

Re: April_Rain – there is no paternity test required to have someones name on the birth certificate, so the answer to that question is no. Technically that is not an air tight way to ensure parental rights.

Welp, it's like the saying goes, "Maternity is a certainty, but paternity is an act of faith — or a court order."

Good for Gab he should protect himself and his daughter. I'm glad to see Halle didn't have a problem with it.
