"I still don't think I'm indie - I did a Perez Hilton interview last week. And that is kind of poppy, as mainstream as you can go. And he's actually lovely. Even in high school, I had friends from every different group, be it goth or gangsta or redneck. I feel like I don't sort of fit in one place. I'm curious about everything and everyone, and luckily our demographic has reflected that. There's not one place we fit in and that's been good because we get to do lots of different kinds of things."

LISSIE IS AWESOME! I just saw her show last night in Denver, and she is an amazing performer; everyone in the crowd was just happy to be there, and she really just knocked it out of the park…and she's HOT.

    "I still don't think I'm indie…"

For fück's sake, what's with these ignorant hacks throwing around the word "indie" like some uninformed hipster adjective or impotent descriptor? It's pretty simple bïtch – if you're on an independent record label, you're "indie." If you're on a major label, you're not indie. It's not fücking rocket science.
