Alexis Neiers' Sister, Tess Taylor, Checks Into Rehab

| Filed under: DrugsSad SadReality TV

We're sad to say that it seems like she was following in her sisters footsteps.

Pretty Wild's Tess Taylor has reportedly checked herself into rehab, and is seeking treatment for an addiction to opiates .

Her mother, Andrea Arlington, revealed that her daughter only weighed 93 pounds at the time she sought out help, and that she was "extremely weak and exhausted from trying to detox and recover from Opiate addiction."

Arlington explains:

"Approximately two weeks ago after a lot of coaxing from sister Alexis Neiers and myself, and after almost losing her life, Tess Taylor contacted Greg Hannley, owner of the SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu and asked for help."

She'll be there for 12 months.

Scary stuff. We're glad she reached out for treatment, and is currently getting the help that she needs.

Furthermore, we hope that this family will stay out of the spotlight and focus on cleaning up their lives.

why are they all such losers?? what a shame, those girls are all very pretty and will destroy it with drugs………..

  2. 2

they have no life, and nothing better to do, and yes, exactly, thats so true that they are so beautiful, and they are ruining all their oppurtunities that could have come down the road. so so so sad!

  3. 3

    She's pretty

  4. 4

yea right. stay out of the spotlight. thats probably the reason they "coaxed" her into it in the first place. TO GET ANOTHER TV SHOW OUT OF IT. these reality stars are so predictable.

  5. 5

    must have a great mom

  6. 6

My god if her pupils got any bigger she'd look like a Evil Willow from Buffy!!

It was decided by our family that we should be willing to be examples and not hide our imperfections, but to fully be real and tell the truth. We want others dealing with this addiction to feel courageous enough to talk about it with their families and get help before it is too late. Making all these judgmental comments are hurtful toward this goal. To stand up as individuals and as a family, who are blessed to have an opportunity to shed light on this epidemic and educate others, instead of hiding behind closed doors and pretending we are perfect is a gift to our society in the long run and that is why we collectively decided to be real. If you feel otherwise, please educate yourself about the most important issue here and that is helping others. We are in a position to make it right and good for people to get help instead of hiding in shame. I am grateful to be on the slaughtering block, if by being willing to be vulnerable, I can save even one life. And you all should be ashamed of yourselves if you are a part of this schmear campaign.

It takes a lot of courage to admit a person is addicted to anything much less heroin or opiates. Anyone who has the courage to do that should be praised not persecuted. How do expect others to have the courage to come forth and get help when the outcome of celebrities talking about their addiction is received by people who like to condemn others instead of focus on righting their own imperfections. see -US NEWS 2009 article, "OxyContin and the Opium Epidemic of the 21st Century"

these are the same girls who were popping adderall given by their mother on tv like its candy. fucking idiots.

  12. 12

Who the fuck are these people.

  13. 13

I hope Tess gets the help that she so desperately needs. Ryan Seacrest should be ashamed of himself for exploiting those young girls for "Pretty Wild" ratings and money. And Andrea Arlington must have gone to the Dina Lohan school of pimping out your kids. Sad.

  14. 14

Why are people acting so fucking surprised about this? Its quite well known around LA the girls are addicted to Heroin. For fuck's sake, there were pictures of her and Alexis nonchalantly smoking heroin while playing on a computer all over the internet.

  15. 15

oh i didnt know going to rehabs or have drug problems means your trying to be in the spotlight…

Re: andrea arlington – If that's the case, that you all were "willing to be examples and not hide our imperfections, but to fully be real and tell the truth" why did Alexis and Tess repeatedly deny that they were addicts?

  17. 17

Re: andrea arlington – Raise responsible young women with intelligence, class and humbleness and they wouldn't be in the situation they are. I have no sympathy for spoiled little rich girls that allow their lives to go to shit. She's not seriously getting help, she's looking for stardom - just like her dumb ass sister who robbed real famous people.

  18. 18

LOSER! I watched that show and those girls are an example of spoiled brats with no sense of reality/responsibility.

  19. 19

Re: andrea arlington – So I guess its safe to say the Dr. Phil Alexis and Tess filmed a couple months ago where they lied about how much they've changed their lives is never going to air?

  20. 20

Listen "Andrea Arlington". I don't think ANYONE has EVER been under any assumption that the Niers girls or any member of their family is "perfect". We've been forced to see all of their disgusting faces in the media for years now, which is doubly offensive when you think about the fact that they haven't done anything to warrant their newfound fame. They got a show because one of them broke into a celebrity's house. The one time I tuned in for curiosity's sake, it was to see a mother taking nude photos of her daughter to submit to Playboy. Andrea is a ridiculous excuse for a mother. The reason all of her children are ending up in rehab, jail, and the pages of nudie magazines are because of her horrendous example and ability to be a parent. The only thing that her daughters are going to remembered for are their stints in jail and rehab, and their ability to work a stripper pole…not shedding light on the difficulties of addiction. I'm not saying in the slightest that addiction isn't an extremely serious matter, but at the same time one must look at WHY someone got into the behavior in the first place. Three guesses.

  21. 21

I have always heard that this chick is waaaay more fucked up than Alexis (drug wise) has anyone else heard this? I watched a couple episodes of the show on E! but it made me really sad. I couldn't believe how young they were and the stuff they were into- like the stripper pole scenes, bar hopping, and everything else. I Love trashy tv, but E! really set the bar low with that one.

  22. 22

Let's put the blame where it belongs-THAT MOTHER IS NOT A MOTHER AT ALL! She takes nude pics of her girls, she allows horrible behavior and blames everyone else on her daughters behaviors! What a terrible mother!

  23. 23

This woman is a complete failure as a mother.

  24. 24

Re: in4mation – I don't think that the mother should be at blame for a childs mistakes. Once the "child" reaches the age of accountability then it is the "child's" fault. I don't know much about this mother so I am just speaking in general terms. It seems so easy to point the finger at a parent when their children make mistakes. What about those parents who could win parent of the year awards but they have a child who is an addict or a convicted felon or anything for that matter? I just think people need to stop blaming the parents all of the time for the "childs" mistakes.

  25. 25

i don't think they're asking for sympathy… just support. they all looked like idiots on the show and i'm not sympathetic for them and situation they created for themselves but she's finally getting help so good for her. i dont understand why everyone is complaining about what attention whores they are when you're all the ones wasting your time trash talking them. stop fueling it. hopefully she'll clean up her act and do something better with her life so howabout a simple "get well soon" and get on with your own lives.

  26. 26

great that she's getting help. but her "mom" didnt seem to have any rules for these kids. maybe the youngest still has a chance?

  27. habit says – reply to this

which company is releasing the sex tape? and when?

  28. 28

Re: andrea arlington – Heeeellllooo, that's what happens when you push your family in the limelight. You get thrown to the dogs, a.k.a. the public. And if you were a better mother, your kids might not be such a mess. God, I am soooo thankful that I actually have had decent parents raise me, and not someone like you. Anyone who tries to make their kids famous is very shady.

  29. 29

    Re: andrea arlington

clearly the mother LOVES the attention. addiction is a very scary thing, but should be done OUT of the limelight.

  30. 30

    Re: AriellaJean – exactly!

  31. 31

Is it sad? Yes. Is anyone really surprised? No.

  32. 32

Shame on anyone who is crtiticizing a family that is brave enough to be real.
I wish this family the best in healing, hope and happiness.
