Olbermann For Senate?

Oh, could you imagine? He'd certainly go down as one of the more vocal people the House has ever seen!

Word around Capitol city is that the democrats want recently unemployed MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann to run for retiring Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman's seat. A former resident of the state, activists who attend a political conference this weekend in Pennsylvania thought it was an incredible idea. In fact, a Facebook page and a Twitter has already been set up to get the ball rolling. (Because, as well know, using social networks gets things done. Right Betty White?)

But will he do it? Can he do it? Maybe if he came out of hiding, we could ask him!

Oh Keith! Olly olly oxen free!

Please, God, let Keith Olbermann run for Senate in Connecticut. This would be the best news I've had since I woke up on the first Wednesday last November. Amen.

  2. 2

    He should be president.

  3. 3

Wait. I thought the dems were demanding civility in politics, and now they want to recruit one of the WORST hate mongers evers?

but then this is liberals we're talking about. they constantly talk out their ass.

  4. 4

Nobody that divisive and pissed off should run for anything other than zeeeee hills. Get out icky poo.

  5. 5

If this happened, Connecticut would be the butt of all jokes.

Hey Perez - if he is running for the Senate…he would be the loudest member in the Senate, not the House. The House and Senate are two different bodies. (Senate + House = Congress). If you are going to start reporting on political issues, get your facts straight.

  6. 6

Oh yeah, because he is soooo qualified. Well, at least if he runs and WINS then we know Connecticut citizens are dilusional at best.

  7. 7

First the clown Al Frankin, now Keith OLbermann, and the number one clown obanna. The democraps three stoogies.

  8. 8

A senator is in the senate, not the house, dumbass. He can't exactly be the most "vocal people the house has ever seen" unless he's running to be representative. DUH.

  9. 9

    YES! YES! YES!
Funally there would be an outspoken Democrat!
There are enough loud Republicans & half of them lie!

  10. 10

And these same fine folks are calling for a new civility on Capitol Hill. ROFL

Re: Kodes100 – "Funally" yeah, you're a winner. And yes, I love your comment, so we're at least half honest, while ALL you Dems lie. Please, by all means, let him run, it will be hilarious how fast he will be beaten and a shoe in for anyone who runs against him! Calling sports and being a hate-mongering biased asshole certainly qualify him for any office, he's at least as qualified as Obama … and he was at least born in this country.
