LifeStyle Condoms Wants To Put Ads During Skins!

Wow! We're surprised they didn't think to do this earlier!

Although pretty much every advertiser has abandoned MTV's Skins due to its controversial and mediocre first two episodes, there does seem to be ONE potential company interested in helping MTV fill the commercial breaks with ads that aren't promos for Teen Mom or I Used To Be Fat - LifeStyle Condoms!

A representative explains:

“We are considering advertising during 'Skins', as it provides the opportunity to impart a responsible message about safe sex to an audience who clearly needs to understand the implications of their actions. [Teens] can and should be protecting themselves and their partners.”

Although we doubt that MTV is going to pass up this opportunity, we are a bit pleased to hear that LifeStyle's intentions are purely based out of the need to promote safe sex with teens!

Maybe there will be hope for this show yet!

Thoughts??

Don't they already advertise on MTV like a million times a day anyway? Big deal.

Gee, I think I mentioned in an earlier post on this subject that "Trojans" would be a good sponsor. Maybe somebody out there is actually reading these posts.

"Lifestyle" condoms don't care about promoting safe sex. All they care about is making that American dollar (like everyone else). Paying for advertisement slots is a "small" price to pay for the amount of sales they "might" make. Not that the show is going to last anyways. But meh, good luck to "Skins", "Lifestyle condoms", and anyone else who hopes to make a buck while this show is still on air. SIDE BAR: MTV, stick to what your call letters represent (and why we watch MTV anyways) 'M'USIC 'T'ELE'V'ISION !!
