Place Your Oscar Bets! Vegas Says Odds Are…

| Filed under: Film FlickersAwardzNatalie Portman

vegas oddmakers pick their favorites for oscars

According to Las Vegas oddsmakers, there are some very clear favorites for the Academy Awards this year.

Here are a few films/actors to place your bets on, just for fun of course, if you feel so inclined to do so:

- The Social Network for Best Picture (1-3 favorite odds at America's Line, 2-3 favorite in odds at Wynn Las Vegas)

- Colin Firth from The King's Speech for Best Actor (1-15 favorite odds at America's Line)

- Natalie Portman from Black Swan for Best Actress (2-5 favorite odds at Wynn Las Vegas)

Nobody has any faith in Inception, eh? Ah well!

Do U agree with these picks from Vegas? Who would U place your bets on?

UGH, if Social Network wins for best picture I'm going to shoot myself. ALL the other movies nominated are SO much better than that crap; better stories, better acting, more interesting, actually held my attention for more than five minutes….

    ANYTHING other than Social Network!

The Social Network doens't deserve ANYTHING! the movie was pretty much boring. The writting was amazing compared to Twilight but it is NOT award-deserving. If The Social Network wins best picture, it will be another travesty just like when Crash won. Both movies were entertaining but NOT worth an academy award for best picture. No way!

Blue Valentine was definitely Best Picture of the year but since the idiots didn't nominate it, The Fighter is my next pick
