Oh man. This sounds PERFECT for her!

Tori Amos can now reportedly add playwright to her list of accomplishments, as she's behind a new musical set to be staged by Britain's National Theatre!

The piece is allegedly based on the 19th century fairy tale The Light Princess, written by George McDonald, and Amos has written all of the music and lyrics for the reinterpretation, set to debut in early 2012!

Amazing! We just know that this is going to be stunning!

But as much as we're excited for this, bb, we hope you have a new album in the works!

We're in dire need of new Tori!

Thoughts??

Right on, Tori Amos can do no wrong!

When I was a teen, Tori was my girl. Under the Pink, Boys for Pele, Little Earthquakes…but her last few albums don't have that angst I loved about her. And it's really disappointing that she caved in to plastic surgery, she looks scary and it killed my girl crush. Yeah yeah, she's talented but she's no longer a goddess to me.

i agree with nervousnell- she looks so scary indeed, that awful hairline is a dead give away of plastic surgery. she looks otherworldly but not in a good way.

Re: NervousNell – Plastic surgery? Really? I've had the pleasure of meeting Tori and trust me the woman has not had any work done. She is a true artist in every sense of the word.

Let Tori be… even if she got plastic surgery that is her choice… if you thought you could fit her in some perfect mold in your mind Im sorry you would have always been wrong. I don't understand you NervourNell she is no longer "pretty" in your mind therefore she is a has been? Sounds like you never got her in the first place. Come on bitches why do we hate women so much for aging?

I can't wait for a soundtrack (hopefully!). Tori is my idol. She is so incredibly smart, talented, and a true artist in a world where only bland mainstream pop music gets recognition. I've met her twice and she is so giving and sweet - she gave me a big hug and said "Come here, beautiful!" the second time, and we had a great conversation. She is just so down-to-earth for such a goddess-like creature. :)

Re: wiresandwood – That's exactly how she acted when I met her.

Re: Little Fairy – They never did get her in the first place, I agree. She's one of the most original, inventive and brilliant artists to ever grace the airwaves and she will go down in history as such.
