  1. 1

It doesn't give me the option of "secure browsing" - though I did see someone from Chicago accessed my account and was able to end that activity!

  2. 2

    I dont see this setting!

  3. 3

    thanks perez. xx

  4. 4

That option was not under my account security settings???

  5. 5

wait i don't even have that secure browsing option?

  6. 6

Strange, when I check it that option isn't there. The only option I have is to get a text or email when a new computer or mobile device accesses my account.

  7. 7

FUNNY WHY THEY DONT MAKE THIS SETTING MANDATORY INSTEAD OF MAKING IT AN OPTION. RETARDED. SO ARE THEY SAYING THERE ARE SOME IDIOT PEEPS WHO WANT TO GET JACKED??

  8. 8

    I don't have that box

  9. 9

There is no such option under Account Settings. What a moron.

  10. 10

I don't have the option either. I don't even have the text option when someone logs into my account. Only email. ???

  11. 11

i can't see the secure browsing box either .

  12. 12

    Umm I don't have that option…should i be worried???

  13. 13

It worked for me! Thanks for the alert!!!

  14. 14

  15. 15

    Thanks

  16. 16

I cant see the setting neither :/

  17. 17

Not all regions and countries have that setting.

  18. 18

it doesn't give me that first option either…as far as someone logging in. I had someone logging in from Burbank, CA on Dec and Jan…end that sh*t!

  19. 19

    FB is for losers! LOL

  20. 20

no secure browsing listed for me

  21. 21

    go back to myspace

  22. 22

thank you for posting this! it's hard to stay up to date in keeping your privacy.

  23. 23

yay! it worked when i put american english as my language, strange.. somebody logged in on my account from the hague!

  24. 24

If you use the Check in service you wont have the option.

  25. 25

Re: Paulinedus – I also have american english and it didnt work for me. Do you live in the states?

  26. 26

    Good to know! Thanks Perez!

  27. 27

Common sense says shouldn't they just make this the default setting and allow users to change it to "unsecure" if they wish?

  28. 28

This option isn't here for me either.

  29. 29

Don't you mean ensure instead of insure…

  30. 30

Like making that change, if you can, will stop a hacker from getting into your acount…right. That's like making bank vault out of paper

  31. 31

    Umm… thanks Perez!

  32. 32

THE OPTION IS THERE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE TO CLICK ON ACCOUNT SECURITY. IT DOESN'T LOOK CLICK-ABLE BUT IT IS! THEN THE OPTIONS SHOW UP.

  33. 33

FAT ASS, STOP FOTOSHOPPING STUFF. THIS OPTION DOESNT EXIST JUDGING BY THE 1000 COMMENTS THUS FAR. MARK ZUCKERBERG SHUD SUE UR FAT ASS FOR FALSE ADVERTISING AND INFRINGING ON COPYRIGHTS.

  34. 34

Re: MsJules – but that would make sense….and FB never makes sense

  35. 35

I dont have that option. Its only one box and its not the one your showing. Please help!!!

  36. 36

Re: MLE9025 – I don't have the option, either. It legitimately isn't there. Some ppl might not know to click on it, but for those of us who actually did open the Account Settings feature, it wasn't there.

  37. 37

Re: MLE9025 – you are wrong

  38. 38

Re: MLE9025 – no it really isnt an option for everyone

  39. 39

Thanks! That's cool of you to let us know about that :)

  40. 40

worked for me it is there thx

  41. 41

It is there for me, I just changed it. Go to account settings, down to account security and then click change. It should bring up the secure browsing box and then another box you can check that sends you an email anytime a different computer logs into your account. And for those that are blaming Perez for it not being there…haha it's not his fault it's either genuinely not there or you're too dumb to find it. I don't understand why it would show up on some people's accounts but not others.

  42. 42

for those who do not see this option, this is a feature that is slowly being rolled out so if you do not see that option now, check back in a day or so. I do not have this option but my husband does for his account.

  43. 43

    worked for me fine :)

  44. 44

its not there 4 me either :(
