Same thing will happen here soon…one world government under the New World Order.

  2. 2

    >: | I help those ppl by PAYING MY TAXES and they don't deserve that.

  3. 3

Why the HELL would I want to help them???? So they can install a government that hates us? @Shelah - I TOTALLY Agree!!! How many hundreds of millions did we give them last year. They have had enough of my money/time/help

  4. 4

why would u want to help them, perez. they HATE gays in the muslim countries.

  5. 5

30 years under dictator rule, or new regime by islamic fundamentalists. Hmmm, no - they're on their own.

  6. 6

We're under a dictatorship here in the USSA. Obama should go back to his birthplace. Where ever that is.

  7. 7

No more help from me! NOPE!!! They got hundreds of millions of dollars from us last year and every year before that! Why help them so they can just install a government that hates us more than the current one! @Shelah, Im totally with ya on that one!

  8. 8

Why on earth should we help Egypt?? We need to help our own country first!

  9. 9

Excellent point, Tiggerchick5. Egypt is not getting a dollar from me.

  10. 10

Send Barack Hussein Obama over there. He's a Muslim. He can tame those people. They can all join together in a circle, holds hands and pray to Allah.

  11. 11

Wow, I'm amazed at the ignorance shown in the first few comments on here. This has nothing to do with giving money to people, just with how to help them establish some communication with the outside world when the government shuts everything down (the internet, phone service, etc). Even if it was about giving money, what makes Egyptians any less human than you and me? A person in need deserves help. Don't even say anything about all the foreign aid Egypt gets — trust me, that doesn't go to helping Egypt's citizens. And just because the US has its own problems doesn't mean we shouldn't help others less fortunate than us. Even at our worst we are still a lot better than many, many countries in the world.

God, you are all a bunch of assholes aren't you?
You all bitch about absence of democracy, then when people try to achieve it, you all bitch about how they are a drain on your resources. Well I've got news for you, the US went into Iraq to remove a dictatorship and basically unleashed a dreadful chaos, but now people are demanding democracy themselves, the American government is reluctant to help and is intead talking to Mubarak to try and help their allies. Jesus christ, the US government is a fucking hypocrite, and to be honest, you all should shove your 'liberty' values, because everyone here is a bunch of hypocrites.

The reason why homosexuality is illegal by the way is because of Mubarak. So stop the bullshit, they are trying to install a legitimate, democratic government. I thought that was something the US would support.
And no, if anyone has been following the news, the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamists don't have any power over this.

    Re: AmeliePoulain
What bugs me is these people are actually demanding a democratic state with democratic elections and I thought the US government would be supportive. However, it seems Obama is reluctant to turn on his ally Mubarak and that pisses me off because it seems like it preaches democracy and liberty values to the world and the moment people start to request it, it's like oh dude, sorry we didn't mean you, the dictator is still our ally…..

    Re: bongo
One of the most ignorant things I have ever seen. The Coptic Christians have showed solidarity with their muslim brothers and have even vowed to protect them from police brutality while they resume their Friday prayers. This has nothing to do with religion, this is a classic case of a dictatorship being over thrown, it's a modern version of a peasant revolution requesting an immediate change of the political system where the rich benefit.

  15. 15

you put it perfectly Amelie Poulain. thank god someone here has a brain.

  16. 16

Re: AmeliePoulain – of course America is for the citizens of Egypt, but the problem is donating again and again… I did my $ text to Haiti, and where did that go?? To the scam artists in the government and out of it. Unfortunately America needs to take a path right now of protecting our own, and believe me I'm sad that this is what is happening, but for you all of you in 30's and younger the world is changing a lot, and not for the better.. The middle east is about to start a World War, and who knows how that will affect us, but I do know is that we should bring most of our servicemen and women to come home and protect our homeland, because whether Democrat or Republican Islamic EXTREMISTS .. ( make sure you see that part all you liberals) .. that EXTREMISTS are changing this world, and unfortunately the Cumbaya stuff has to end..

  17. 17

@ leenb and amelie what's your name. blah blah blah… why don't you both volunteer your services and go to egypt and aid those deserving souls first hand. Let's see how far you westerized christians ( i'm assuming you are christian, pfft ) get over there. you'll be whining and crying for someone over here to help your dumba$$e$ home real quick. Idiots

  18. 18

Re: AmeliePoulain – you sound like the typical bleeding heart liberal. You better understand the consequence of replacing one regime for another before getting all preachy about humanity.

  19. 19

This just goes to show you what trash you people are on here. All of you need to burn in hell you racist bastards. Muslims are way more kind and intelligent than You Dip Shit Ass Losers GO EGYPT PROTESTERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. 20

Re: LeenB – those people on this page telling you that this is about democracy and freedom are liars. the people who show support for the muslim brotherhood are liars. the current government is a dictorship. egytians are fucked either way. and the muslim brotherhood with have no mercy on the gays or the christians.

  21. 21

Muslims are a major pain. Screw them all!

  22. 22

  23. 23

Some of you sound so racist and ignorant. Could you even locate Egypt on a map? What about Yemen?

  24. 24

Re: bongo – He is where he should be. You can go back under the rock you crawled out from now.

  25. 25

Re: bongo – Obama is NOT a muslim, but from your posts it is clear ARE an idiot.

  26. 26

a lot of the comments on here are extremely ignorant. first of all egypt was originally a CHRISTIAN country. second of all, it's the government waisting the money, not the poor people who are suffering. thirdly, who the heck are we to even say we've given so much for their cause. just because you're paying your taxes doesn't mean it's all benefitting the people of egypt. they have more adversity than most of the people of america would know, and i know this because i've been there and i have family there.

  27. 27

Re: LetttyB – You should perhaps find another way to entertain yourself, you clearly cannot handle yourself here.

  28. 28

It's a shame this didn't happen while you were there, Mario. I doubt you'd be asking people to help after you saw the way Muslims treated you as a gay American. They would have skinned you alive.

  29. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: cap chick
I don't know if you have been watching the news, but this has little to do with Islamic exteremists, most political analysts are describing a departure from the typical post Colonialism reaction, and moving further away from Islamic extremists. Look at Tunisia, one of their most beloved leaders has advanced the rights of women and separated religion from the government. It is true that the Muslim Brotherhood will try and cap on the revolution but it seems very unlikely that they will appeal to the majority of the population. The fact remains is the Egyptians are very poor and exploited by the dictatorship. They are fed up with censorship, and the police state of Egypt. Journalists have been asking the typical egyptian citizenship and their reply is they want their rights and want democracy. You must also understand there has been a deep penetration of liberal and western democracy in the last 10 yearts (which Mubarak has addressed as the reason for this 'chaos'). Obviously, no one has been reading the news. But the Egyptian population has built up itself from illiterate peasants to a more urban, educated population, with literacy rate and higher education rate rapidly increasing. The Muslim Brotherhood was a reaction to western intervention, however this is a reaction to dictatorship.

  30. 30

Re: PrinceD – Can you read??? " EXTREMISTS" ….. When I was in my early 20's I had NO problem bashing the EXTREME right wing here in America…. and now it's 20 years after that, and now the LEFT WING extremist have gone way too far in America… "Condemn the BAD IN OUR OWN groups", and it would be amazing how fast things would change for the better in EVERY NATION….

  31. 31

Fuck those rug pilots! Fucking dune coons.

  32. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: Shelah
I've been to Egypt, lovely place, very friendly people and take pride in their nation. However, they are very poor at the same time, there is a huge divide between the high class and the working class. This is a dictatorship that is beneficial to the rich, but does little to the majority of the population.

And also, I'm not a Christian, I'm a Palestinian Muslim (and 1/4 German). And I've been watching this revolution spread through the Arab World and quite frankly, it's about fucking time.

  33. 33

Re: Mad Dog – Stop generalizing!

  34. 34

As Perez says in regard to homosexuals, us Muslims are growing by the numbers and we aren't going ANYWHERE! Get used to us! Or be unwarrantably afraid… whatever you choose.

  35. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: straighticketvoter
Once more, this is a revolution because people are sick of a police state, censorship. This is a very poor nation, yet the government and the rich are exploiting the poorer population. The entire fucking region is revolting, and even the army is being wary in suppressing the revolution. The Muslim Brotherhood would try and cap on this situation but it is VERY unlikely that theyw ill succeed. As I said, the Egyptian society has experienced a surge of liberal values, and western influences in the past 10 years, and if anyone actually fucking watches the news, Mubarak blamed the relaxed policies for the 'chaos' as he comments. It has transferred the society from an illterate peasant population to a more urban and educated one. It hardly seems like the type of people the Muslim Brotherhood targets. Afterall, once more if anyone actually watched the news, nearly all protestors are saying they want rights, a democracy and a change of regime.

  36. 36

    Re: LeenB – Well said….

  37. 37

    Re: misterfister – SHUT UP!!!!!

  38. 38

Re: bongo – amazed by your ignorance

  39. 39

Its a tough problem now, not only in egypt, but also for israel and states. usa who payed the former dictator are speaking about democracy, right… at the same time people surely are afraid of fundamentalists - who could change the whole situation in the middle east.
    sorry for my eng.

  40. uyeah says – reply to this

Re: LeenB – I'm afraid you are sadly naive. The force behind those protests primarily is the muslims who want sharia law, and traitor muslim Obama knows it. Just wait and watch and become less dependent on the propaganda mainstream media. Next will be war against Israel and the creature in the white house is all for that also.

  41. uyeah says – reply to this

Re: PrinceD – HAHAHAHAHA. Sorry Mohammed, no dice. No one in the world believes that for a second.

  42. 42

The link from Perez leads to a suggestion that does not cost money. But, it does help Egyptians communicate. Communication is key to democracy. I think anything that allows a country's population to communicate can only help democracy develop and that is a good thing. There is no need to mix religion, gay rights, left wing vs. right wing into this.

  43. 43

Re: LeenB – yes, some demonstrators want freedom, but the muslim clergy is riding this demonstration. taking a play from rahm emanuel's handbook. never let an opportunity go to waste. the egyptian people have to fight their own battle, and i pray they have had enough of a taste of freedom, that if they do overthrown mubarak, and the muslim brotherhood does takes his place , the freedom seed will sprout roots, and they have the will to overthrow the radical muslim government, but i am a realist.

  44. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: uyeah
And what proof do you have of this? I've been watching the news from all sorts of different sources, and have also read many editorials and political analysts views. Not to mention, this revolt was started because of Tunisia, which I think we both can agree is in fact a very liberal country compared to other Arab countries (which the islamists have little influence). I am currently studying Middle Eastern politics as well, not to mention being Middle Eastern myself. I'm sorry to see that most people here are spewing very ignorant comments, instead of turning on Aljazeera, BBC News, reading editorials from various newspaper sources.

  45. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: uyeah
Not to mention, one of the primary reasons why this revolt happened is because of inflation and unemployment, censorship and insipiration from Tunisia's population revolt against a dictatorship and call for democracy. It is not, in any way, a revolt for Islamists.

  46. 46

Can I just mention that even the IDF intelligence is doubtful that the Muslim Brotherhood can grab power? Man if Israel is doubtful about it, I have no idea where you get your Islamist paranoia from.

  47. 47

Re: AmeliePoulainRe: ShelahRe: PrinceDRe: Zanooba – I hope all of you self-righteous liberals are personally affected by Islamic violence.

  48. 48

Look, they created the problem; they clean up the problem. The .S. is not responsible for every goddamned issue the crops up on this planet. It would be nice to rein in the egos to take care of the people in the U.S. first.

  49. 49

Re: Zanooba – The world is too politically correct. The majority of Muslims do hate Americans and gays. It's not wrong to point that out just because a handful don't.

  50. 50

Re: PrinceD – #19: Fine — go Egypt protesters; but, let them fend for themselves. Enough with the U.S. clean-up crew. (George Clooney can go fuck himself.)

  51. 51

In Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Egyptian authorities should respect the demonstrators. "Iran expects Egyptian officials to listen to the voice of their Muslim people, respond to their rightful demands and refrain from exerting violence by security forces and police against an Islamic wave of awareness that has spread through the country in form of a popular movement".

Lets go back 2 years when some in Iran tried to uprise. Lets ask them how it went-but we can't Ahmadinejad had them killed!!!!!!!!! One of the worst dictators in the world.

The Muslim Brotherhood is now saying that the Arabs will take out any rulers in the Mid East who are allied with the US.

So is it really about democracy or Muslims wanting to control the whole Middle East.

All Arabs who are not Muslim will not have a chance to live they will be killed. I can't even imagine what will happen to Israel.

I wish it was about democracy for the people of Egypt -but the psycho Muslims will take any chance they can get to turn the Middle East into a cesspool of hate. How much democracy will there be than? I'm thinking a big fat 0. Anyone who than tries to uprise will be dead.

  52. 52

I'm not sending money to help set up what COULD end up being a government of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.

  53. 53

We ARE already giving them over a billion dollars in aid a year. We should be helping our own people first before helping these 3rd world despots.

  54. 54

LOL and this post is coming from Perez who tweeted yesterday " So glad I went there before all this happened!!!!" Hey here's a thought Mario: Why don't YOU help them if you are so concerned?? Posting these cries for others to do your dirty work? Why don't YOU go over there and sort things out? You are so PROUD (and delusional) thinking that your opinion means so much…go on….DO SOMETHING if it's so unacceptable. What??????……Yeah I thought so.

  55. 55

@ jesyrene: lol you are an absolute moron. LOL if you had really read what i said don't you think it sounds more GOP? you are just talking to make yourself feel important. i only replied because you made me laugh. stupid a$$

  56. 56

Re: uyeah – I believe it. I'm a white man who lives in a place in Sydney Australia that has a lot of middle eastern immigrants, more than in any other place in Australia. There just as many mosques within driving distance from my house as there are churches. In some suburbs it literally is a game of spot the white guy because in some places there aren't many of us. And you know what? In 25 years I have NEVER HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH ANYONE. Not one. I am not discriminated against or treated badly by any Muslims in any way, they are as honest and polite as any other people here, and I deal with them on a daily basis. Go spew your hateful ignorance somewhere else, all you do is try to justify your prejudices by claiming the entire "other side" wants to get you. Well they don't, not by a long shot. A small minority are evil that's granted, but there are small groups of ideological evil in every race and every religion, Americans of all people should know that by now.
And to the people saying why should I help? All I can say is that its the people like you who are ruining America. Fucking hypocrites you invade Iraq under the pretense of "bringing freedom" but when some other people are trying to free themselves you all talk shit and say its their problem. Fucking ignorant uneducated hypocrites.

  57. 57

Have any of you ever even BEEN to the Middle East??????? And I'm not talking about the tourist spots.

  58. 58

OK one_night_stand. you are hilarious. why do you think that all americans wanted to invade iraq? Most ppl i talk to here are having a very difficult time making ends meet because OUR GOVERNMENT sends the money away and doesn't take care of it's own. i've never had any problems from ANY religious group, period. I'm simply saying i'm tired of working to support the ENTIRE world. of course you speak like someone that is uninformed on what goes on in this country, just stay on your island and kindly go f*** yourself. : D thank you.

  59. 59

The ignorance and apathy on this post is astonishing. I'll admit that one cannot expect too much on this site(it's generally fun but sometimes we get a serious topic). Every nation of people who demands that the citizens be heard should have that right. Fundementally, Americans should be the first to support that right. This has nothing to do with religion….. but if it did: oppression breeds extremism. Mubarak is ignoring the will of the people of Egypt. They deserve a say in who their leader is. They deserve to be heard and represented, as we all do. They also deserve our help in a democratic process. We cannot be entirely self-serving. We established a prescence throughout the Islamic States and the world because we are the leader of The Free World. We have to lead……….. not pacify and not dictate. There can be resolution and the Egyptians can be responsible for that resolution. We should be a part of the dialogue along with the global community. We can support a change in the interest of the people.

  60. 60

Re: jesyrene – I'm not Re: Mad Dog

Okay, and what about all of the Muslims that are American? Since they hate America, do they hate themselves? You are a fool.

  61. 61

Why the HELL should I "directly help the people there" when the US is paying Egypt 1.6 billion dollars a year to help their army so that Egypt can be our strongest ally? Don't you think I am somehow, someway paying TAXES for that 1.6 billion? I think the US needs to help the citizens that LIVE HERE instead of trying to save the world. I am all for what is going on in arizona. Why should illegal immigrants be allowed to come here and NOT PAY TAXES like everyone else? come here, LEARN ENGLISH AND PAY TAXES LIKE I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  62. 62

    Re: bbtaddpol[re=5564048]Re: bbtaddpole

  63. 63

    Re: jesyrene

I would like to see you survive ONE day in a place like Yemen… Now that's funny!

    & I'm not a liberal… more like an independent, open-minded, humanity-oriented AMERICAN MUSLIM.

  64. 64

    Re: Mad Dog

Actually, there are many openly gay, accepted Egyptians and Lebanese… TURN OFF Fox News.

  65. 65

Re: uyeah – i am sorry to say that i agree with you. look what happened to the the people of iran. they were a very westernized society in the 1970's when the iatolah overthrew the shaw. the people citizens were well educated and not as impovershed as egypt. know look what they have … a dictator proped up by an extrimist muslim group.

  66. 66

Re: One_Night_Only – -It really is shameful to see how hateful people really are. Shameful and scary as hell!

  67. 67

Re: misterfister – -Damn me for laughing at "dune coons"! That's fucking racist dude…..you should be ashamed of yourself. I'm ashamed for laughing and I hope this confession covers my penance.

  68. 68

Dont' think so. Nobody knows who or what is behind this rioting. And why is it that I'm only seeing male rioters and few if any women. Democracy knows no gender. My shit detector is up on these rioters.

  69. 69

To all you kids posting here. Keep on braying sheep. Fight about religion, sexuality, jihad, nationality and money that you already gave away to rich cocksuckers willingly, etc etc etc. Keep your heads in the sand little ostriches. That's what they want you to do. You fight about that which really does not matter and you never see the bus about to run you over.

  70. 70

I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school… I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy…

  71. 71

This U.S. citizens have to help every other nation in the world has GOT TO STOP!!!! Stop asking normal working class people to help save those nations that our not their own!! I am soooooo fucking sick of it! Our own citizens were drowning in New Orleans and living in the Superdome only a few years ago and our own government did NOTHING! I didn't even see a military vehicle there until more than a week after the disaster. And we're supposed to help a nation halfway across the world? I really do feel for the people of Egypt and I hope that they have a better future, but that doesn't mean I can do anything for them than just hope. And for all you bleeding heart liberals who may be reading this and clicking their tongues ever so judgementally…open YOUR freaking wallet if that is what you think is going to save lives and make everything better for the people of Egypt…because I'm ALL TAPPED OUT.

  72. 72

    Re: PerezSux54

So tell your country to stop acting like you have the greatest power ever! (You dont, there is China now, btw) Then you wouldn't 'have to' help others. By helping others politicians mean to EXTEND INFLUENCE!

Nope. Most muslims I know hate the American government, but don't have any problem with the people, and we can both agree that's fair enough. I know most muslims/arabs (can't forget the 30 million Christian arabs, can we? Muslim is not code word for Arabs or Middle Eastern), and alot of them infact like to visit the US and have family there. No hatred for America itself, hatred for American gov when they start invading their countries. Also, there are many homosexuals in the Arab world, you'd be surprised how widespread it is in oppressed societies like Saudi Arabia and whatnot.

  79. LeenB says – reply to this

    Re: midwest girl
God, you're listening to Iran still? Has no one capped on that the Iranian government are a bunch of loonies that just pop out of nowhere and make some statement to make the whole thing seem Islamic or about America or Israel and people actually listen to them? I feel sorry for you.
On the other hand, the IDF israel intelligence has said that the Muslims Brotherhood does not have enough influence to grab power. Now you can all stop being paranoid because even ISRAEL doesn't think the Muslim Brotherhood is going to be in power, and we all know how paranoid Israel is.

Well, since the people are fighting for Sharia law, a law system that will kill ANY HOMOSEXUAL such as yourself, Perez, then I'm all for it!! Perez, go to Egypt again after Sharia law is established, do the deed with another man, report yourself to the government and get yourself killed. It's nice to know you support the killing of gays! The Muslims need a spokesperson like you! Allah will be proud of you.

  83. 83

Re: LeenB – Will you shut the fuck up, Mustafa? No one gives a shit about Muslims. Even Muslims don't give a shit about Muslims. Sure, all Muslims purport to give a fuck about Egyptians or Chechens or Palestinians but they're full of shit. Palestinians get more money per capita from the UN than ANY OTHER GROUP IN THE WORLD. And what do they do with all that money? They spend it on more Katyusha rockets to lob at Jews in Israel. You are a pathetic Muslim and I want you to know that Americans have had it with Muslims. We don't care about you guys anymore. You blew it too many times.
