Sir Anthony Hopkins Tops The Box Office With The Rite

the-rite-tops-box-office.jpg

What a slow weekend at the box office.

Not much came out this weekend, except for Sir Anthony Hopkins' The Rite, which opened at number one, but below expectations with $15 million.

No Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher came in number two in its second week with $13.7 million.

The other opener this week, Jason Statham's The Mechanic, came in number three with $11.5 million.

The Green Hornet and The King's Speech rounded out the top five.

Hmm, seems like The King's Speech got a bump from all its Oscar buzz.

So…what did U see this weekend??

That movie was WACK! I seen it on Friday, total waste of time. I'm glad I spent my dollars on Black Swan (which was worth it).

I saw True Grit. It was outstanding. My favourite of all the contenders by far.

No Strings Attatched and The Green Hornet were good! The Green Hornet is underrated, and more people need to run out, and see it!!!

i saw black swan.. so creepy! but amazing at the same time! i think they over-did the self pleasuring and lesbo stuff though.. but other than that the movie was fantastic
