And everyone at CBS takes a collective sigh of relief.

So, Two and A Half Men isn't getting cancelled. It's going to have to take a break for about a month or so, but according to new reports, Charlie Sheen is slated to be back from rehab just in time to finish out the rest of the season. The producers have already worked out how the episodes will be made up and no one on the cast or crew will be fired.

But now here's the thing. As always, this is contingent on Charlie being released from rehab in the next 3 to 4 weeks as promised. His "addiction specialist" told producers a month should do the trick to make Charlie good as new again, but it could take longer.

Call us skeptical, but we don't think you can rectify over 30 years of destructive behavior in 4 weeks.

But for now, as Charlie Sheen fiddles with the rabbit ears on the common room TV to try and get Penthouse TV takes rehab seriously, the crew over at Two and a Half Men are breathing easy.

Let's hope he doesn't let them down again.

How do they keep him insured? It would suck for Jon Cryer and the kid on the show but they need to cancel it simply to show him that his behaviour is completely unacceptable, especially for a half-talent criminal like him!! He's a spoiled misogynist with a raging coke habit and does not want to get well so let's just let him continue down his path of self-destruction. His dad is too old and too kind to keep trying save his life over and over AGAIN!!!

Hope and pray he does well in rehab. I really love that show!

what rehab - I thought he was at home?

  4. 4

Isn't his rehab in his own home? Not sure that was the best choice.

Re: mgardner – Well I did too–what did we miss? Someone cough it up, is he at home or what?

They would be better off canceling the production, paying off the contract to the other actors, and suing the shit out of charlie. He has caused enough damage to family and career, and his fans. He is a lost cause.

as long as they got a case-o-coke and a jug ready for him everything will b fine

I don't care that this guy is trying to kill himself with drugs and alcohol. And it's none of my business if he chooses to pay porn stars to party with him. I say enjoy that. But what I do object to is that his actions impact a great many people. Everyone associated with his show (honestly, I have no idea why people think that show is funny) depend on him for their jobs. Not everyone in the cast, and certainly not anyone on the crew, earn the millions of dollars that Mr. Sheen does. If his off-screen antics cost everyone else their jobs, then he's just a selfish dick.

He should allocate his salary (yes he is still getting paid while in rehab) to the crew who will have to wait until he's back to work before they get paid again. Give them a paid vacation Charlie. Everyone will respect you for that. You've stood by and said that your partying has not adversely affected anyone working on your show, but you can't say that anymore.
