We almost didn't recognize him at first ourselves, but that is indeed Russell Brand in his teens. His eyes are what give him away - very distinct!

Someone was a huge fan of Vanilla Ice back in the day, weren't they?! Ha!

    His mother was sick with different forms of cancer (uterine & breast cancer) when he was a little boy. His parents divorced when he was less than a year old. His mother struggled with her health. Russell was 7 or 8 when he was sexually abused. By the time he was 14, he was bulimic. Poor Kid. He had it rough growing up.

He's not ashamed to talk about anything about his past, which makes me love and respect him even more. He truly did have it tough, but hopefully he'll never have to suffer again. With a lovely wife and a great career hopefully he's in a much better place now :)
