Lindsay Protests! Claims The D.A. Is "Out To Get" Her!

| Filed under: Lindsay LohanLegal Matters

Sorry, honey. You do the crime, you do the time. There's no blaming others for your own mistakes!

According to sources, Lindsay Lohan is whining distraught over the fact that Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers has it out for her - or so LiLo says. She's convinced that the prosecutor is "trying to use" LiLo to get herself elected into office and believes that her felony grand theft charges would have never been filed had she been up against anyone besides Miz Meyers.

Of course, Miz Meyers's people dispute Lindsay's allegation that the D.A.'s office is targeting her, saying:

"The D.A.'s Office has been fair and compassionate in prosecuting Ms. Lohan on her DUI."

Truth is kid, you're in a lot of trouble and there may be no saving you this time. You've just got to accept that you've screwed up and stop trying to weasel your way out of this by pointing fingers at other people.

It's time to grow up and face the consequences. Think you can handle that?

    Dont steal.

Do the crime, do the time

  2. 2

It's really same shit different day with this girl.

  3. 3

I know she's at the point in her criminal record where the punnishment for her offenses is multiplying exponentially… but i still think this is wrong. if i were a celebrity i would speak out about this, i'm suprised they are all quiet. you have to speak up for what is wrong, we just send everybody to jail in this country? is that what were voting for? no, but we don't know what we vote for we vote for lawmakers that do what they want. ugh this is just breaking my heart i dunno :-(

  4. 4

its a fucking neckless i guess that's my problem. if she stole a wad of cash from a cash register i wouldn't be here. a neckless people.

  5. 5

haters you guys can go suck a dick. why doesn't everyone just leave lindsay alone. fuck, i swear. people need to fuck off and mind their own fucking business. you guys don't know her life story and you certainly don't know what happened that day. so don't be so quick to judge. there's two sides to this story for all you know the other bitch could be lying just to try to be in the spotlight and get some money from lindsay. people these days make a big deal out of nothing. haters get a fucking life. you too perez. your such a dick head. lmfao

  6. 6

You know, you talk like she has already been convicted! I don't think she'd be stupid enough to steal something like that right after she was getting her life together. it was said that she had $6000 on her that day and had enough to buy the necklace. Does it really make sense that she stole it?
I kind of think this store lent it to her, maybe an employee didn't follow protocol and now they are trying to cover there ass by blaming Lindsay. Also I'm pretty sure this is great advertising for that store! When people are famous it is like putting a sign on your back saying take advantage of me. Hollywood is full of mean, lying people. I dont actually even like lindsay but this time I will stick up for her because I don't think she's that stupid!!!!

  7. 7

Dear Lindsay, Remember when you had "FUCK U" written on your fingernail while you were in court?? Well honey… now they are fucking you!

  8. 8

i do feel like their out to get her i mean how do you steal a 2,000 dollar piece of jewelry?!! I know if i walked in the store the sells person wouldnt even let me try it on much less forget to take it off after i did try it on?!!!

Re: Nevereclipsed01 – Are you insane? This girl hasn't been out of treatment for 6 months and is getting in trouble again. Grand Theft is a pretty big deal, and just because she is trying to get a sob story from people out of it, doesn't make it okay. You think it's a coincidence how often people have accused her of stealing, that everyone really is out to get her? Please, the world doesn't revolve around her and she should pull her head out of her ass and see she is her biggest problem and take blame instead of pointing fingers.

  10. 10

I say lock that bitch up! Maybe she will take that time to think about actions and consequences…

  11. 11

She's got that middle finger toward the cameras again! But seriously, how did she leave the jewelry store with the necklace, if not paid for? Was it a loan, and the store is overreacting to her lax return of their merchandise?

  12. 12

    Re: Nevereclipsed01

maybe lindsay shouldn't commit felony's. that's an easy way to stay out jail.

  13. 13

It's always someone else's fault. The hallmark of an addict.

  14. 14

Re: white_is_ugly – If she stops breaking the law, we will.

  15. 15

Re: Nevereclipsed01 – What's the difference between stealing a $2,500 necklace and stealing $2,500 in cash?

  16. 16

    This is complete BS.
She did not steal that cheap piece of sh!t chain.
They lent her that chain and then made this story up to get publicity for their store.
I hope no one ever patronizes them again.
    This is disgusting.
And this famewhore prosecutor is just trying to make a name for herself and use Lindsay in the process.

  17. 17

I'm not sure why they have it in for her but obviously they do. I feel sorry for Lindsay.

  18. 18

Re: Mad Dog – Wether it was a million dollar necklace or a 20 cent necklace it's still robbery ad it's still illegal. I for once hope she does go to jail, even though she'll probably still won't learn a thing.

  19. 19

Pleeeeeeeeze…..It's not even her fault,,(this time)…Her middle finger is stuck this time, for reals…Didn't you ever hear that you shouldn't make funny faces, cuz your face could stick that way? Well, her finger did….

  20. 20

Glad to see this bitch taken down. About time.

  21. 21

Not a Lohan defender. I am a defender of fairness and being rational. What fucking high end jewlery store has a necklace worth 2,500 out and about and able to be taken? For those of you who have worked in a high end jewelry store, or shopped in one, you know that in order for a customer to get access to a piece of jewelry, it must be taken out of a locked case by a worker and placed on the customer. So we are to believe the store worker is so fucking incompetent she forgot she put a 2,500 necklace on a customer????

Something is not right about these allegations and I am inclined to think that the judge is in fact out to get her.

  22. 22

There must have been clear evidence in the video from the store for the D.A. to prosecute. She's reportedly stolen other things before too- do a google check, so I believe that she stole the necklace. She is so stuck on herself that I really think she thought she would get away with it.

  23. 23

It is only a stupid necklace but if she in fact "stole" the necklace then she should be liable. She does stuff that she's not supposed to and then she makes excuses for herself and tries to put the blame on others. She has gotten away with this distasteful behavior her whole life and still thinks she can even though she's up against the big boys. I hope she learns that she can't continue life like this because if she doesn't, she will pay the consequence.

  24. 24

Stealing a $2500 necklace from a jewelry store would get just about anyone else in California a couple years in the state hoosgow. The latitude Lindsay' s been given is utterly shocking and smells of possible corruption in the legal system. Her misbehaviour is affecting businesses that deal with Hollywood and may force changes that the agencies and film production companies will not like, such as additional hoops to borrow jewelry or high-end props or clothing for wardrobe assistants. She's beginning to cost Hollywood some serious time and money and hassle. As a result, I suspect she's about to get thrown under the bus.

  25. 25

    Re: GaGaGoAwayAway
Thank you for having a brain.
I have been buying high end watches and jewelry for almost 20 years and I have never been able to look at anything without it being taken out of a locked case by an associate and they standing right there when you try it on.
It would be freaking impossible for her to just walk out of a store with any jewelry, especially with it around her neck.

Not to mention most stores have a security guard right there who would stop you if the salesperson said something.
She is being setup and the store and the prosecutor should be investigated.

  26. 26

well to people that have replied.. i said somewhere else that celebrities often borrow jewelry, they often have different accounts set up, perhaps an agent or a manager that she thought might be footing the bill.. nobody knows. and lindsay is definately absent minded, but i just don't think she intended grand theft with a stupid neckless. i dunno it was wrong but 3 years in the pen is really harsh.

  27. 27

it IS weird the owner didnt notice it was missing right away, If it's one of a kind?! Either way, fuck L.L. Put her ass in jail just for being a stupid bitch. lol

This is the part in the movie where all the townspeople look at what she's done, turn around, and walk away shaking their collective heads. DA's aren't out to 'get' her. What a childish perception. They're out to do their jobs, which is to get justice against criminal acts.

  29. 29

Re: Nevereclipsed01 – U R SO RIGHT. THANKS FOR SAYING WHAT I HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM NOT YELLING, I CAN SEE THE LETTERS BETTER IN CAPS, K? ANYWHO, U HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WHEN YOU SAID 3 YRS IS A LITTLE HARSH, AND AGAIN U R RIGHT. I'VE READ OF PEOPLE GETTING 3-5 FOR INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER! WHAT IS WRONG WITH CALIF. JUSTICE SYSTEM OR IS IT JUST THIS ONE D.A.?

  30. 30

I can't imagine that the store would have pursued this if there was any chance at all that it was their mistake. It would be the absolute WORST thing that they could do if they wanted to continue to have celebrity clientele. Despite the fact that Lindsay has a stolen before (hello, mink coat), I doubt much will come of this. I think the DA is making a little too much of it, but I can understand why from their perspective. Lindsay very obviously believes that she doesn't have to play by the same rules as the rest of us, and I'm sure that the DA is sick of her flipping off the law. She'll probably spend about 10 minutes in jail and be back out to find some new laws to break - though it won't be her fault.

  31. 31

Re: Nevereclipsed01 – It doesn't matter what she stole, it's the principle. Stealing from someone else is wrong. Do not covet thy neighbor.

  32. 32

The dumb family thinks everyone is out to get them.. but in reality if you'd stay the fuck out of trouble and stop doing stupid shit and being delusional about it then you wouldn't have a fucking problem! Ya dumb bitch!

  33. 33

Re: white_is_ugly – Oh stfu! Anyone who defends them are just like them or are them.. delusional! If she would stop doing stupid shit then no one would bother her dumbass!

  34. 34

Re: Nevereclipsed01 – You can't take whats not yours.. why the fuck should they just let her take a necklace? It's worth 2,500 dollars.. so that's how much she stole.. geez you just saying that because she is considered a "celebrity" cause if not i guess i can just go to a fucking store and take a expensive necklace huh? Because to you "it's just a necklace".

  35. 35

Re: Angus8 – She didn't just "take it" from the store.. that's not what people are saying.. pay attention.. she was loaned it and didn't give it back!.. Now she got caught with it and has been having it for a certain amount of time without returning it.. so therefore they have a right to sue her.. im pretty sure she had a contract and was supposed to give it back at a certain time.. since she didn't do that, this is what happens.. why should she be let off? No one else would if they did the same thing.. she should of gave it back when she's supposed to.. it's not good publicity for the jewelry store either..
