Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial To Be Televised!

| Filed under: Legal MattersMichael Jackson

Oh boy. This is going to become an absolute circus.

The involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is accused for his part in Michael Jackson's death, is getting ready to go, and yesterday, El Lay County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor not only ordered jury selection to begin on March 24th, but also approved the use of television cameras during the trial!

According to the defense and prosecution, the opening statements will most likely be delivered during the first week of April, and the actual trial will last around six weeks.

Good lord. We need to start mentally and physically preparing ourselves for this.

A whole lot of insanity is going to be coming everyone's way if the public is allowed to watch all of this mess go down.

Of course it will, and his disgusting pathetic family probably have the rights to it so they can make even more money of their dead pervert family member. This family makes the Lohan's look like the Cleaver's.

what channel will it be shown on ?

Michael Jackson was very mentally ill. Deal with it and leave this guy alone. Take some personal responsibility. The doctor was just doing what he was being paid to do. He is not a very good doctor but Michael was 200% in charge.

Ohh geez I do not agree with showing this on t.v. Its not a freakin circus this is about the death of a man because his doctor helped feed his need for propofol even when he knew it was wrong. I hope this is a lesson to all other celebrity doctors that are drug pushers that you can not get away so easily we hope at least. R.IP MJJ

oh well what a shame for the media then eh? at least the public will be able to watch the TRUTH unlike at MJ`s trial in 2005 where the media were left to basically write whatever they wanted.
i know i would rather watch TRUE goings on in that court than read about it second hand, just like the one sided reports we only got to see from MJ`s 2005 trial.

Re: Sam90 – I agree with you, i really do but i think judging by the way the media have treated michael in the past with their lies then at least we as his fans will be able to hear exactly what happened rather than fabricated stories and half truths and one sided reports like the trial in 2005.
surley the media will have to report EXACT goings on in that court room? if the cameras are rolling then any lies/half truths can quickly be put right, although im sure they will try their best to make their stories as sensational as they possibly can.

i completly respect the fans that do not want this to be shown on TV…
i just think that whether it is shown or not it will be splashed all over the tabloids, it is going to be reported, that much is fact, so i would prefer to see for myself exactly what murray did (or didnt) do rather than read from the media what colour pants mj happened to be wearing when he died or what colour his bedroom decor was!

This is awful. It's reminiscent of the Romans in the coliseum. Justice should be respectful and not for entertainment ,ratings, or profit. I won't watch.

How quaint considering it's been a show from that start.

This is crazy…they should NOT put this trail on trail in the courts and on TV. This is so disrespectful to MJ and his legacy. They never gave him a break while he was alived and now they won't give him his respect and privacy in death. I REFUSE to watch it if it is televised.

Cant Wait Ill be watching 4 sure ,

Re: MJ ROCKS!!! – I'm like you. I totally understand that some fans don't want everything in court to be broadcasted on live TV but when it come's down to it, alteast we know that what will be said on sites like this and on some of those sensationalized entertainment shows will finally be true. And if people still try to twist what is being said in court (like they did during the trial against Michael) then people who watched the live broadcast will actually be able to weigh out the truth from the B.S. I for one will be glued to the T.V. to see how Murray's lawyers are going to try to get Murray out of the hot water that he put himself in. Love to the family. I know it will be hard for the majority of them to have this play out in front of the world like this.

    Re: MJ fan59;)
yes my thoughts will be with all the family also.
