What Happened Between Ashlee & Pete???
With no one talking, we're left to speculate about what has led to this morning's announcement that Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce after three years of marriage to Pete Wentz.
We've got our suspicions, but we decided to do a little digging to try and put the pieces, pieces, pieces together.
Just called us Carmen Perez San Diego!
Our only clues so far come to us from Ashlee and Pete's Twitter accounts. On January 19th, Ashlee sent the following tweet to Pete:
"I already miss your handsome face!"
We know around this time, Pete was home with their son, which means Ashlee must've been traveling for work, leaving her boys to their own devices. We can infer, then, that whatever happened to cause their split happened after January 19th.
But wait! Hold on! Then we checked with Pete's Twitter page to see what he's written as of late. Just two days ago, he tweeted out this message:
"dont forget 2 notice-when i look into the lil dudes eyes & smile, the way he loves. i realize @ashsimpsonwentz is a good moma + so much more"
Hmm. Is this a romantic tweet….or an apologetic one? We can't be sure, but again, we have our suspicions.
We really want to believe that this split is an amicable one, but there are some tell-tale signs leading us to believe otherwise.
Put our minds at ease, Ashlee. Start talking!!!

All I really know is that Pete is a guy in a band. And as everyyyyyyyybody knows, band guys are notoriously unfaithful.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were just pulling a speidi. They probably want their names back in the news so they may be staging a divorce then in a month or two, VOILA, they are back together again. Just my two cents

Like many Hollywood divorces, I am sure we'll find out sooner than later what happened. I do find it sad, these two made a nice couple and seemed to really get on together. I suppose looks can deceive. Hope they find happiness if not together than apart.
Raising tiny children is TIRING and DIFFICULT and these two as visually and vocally wonderful as they are, are IMMATURE. Most people nowadays are immature and attention deficite and self centered. Its the norm. So its the norm to break up before a kid even gets to be seven years old…and the kid they have will MOST LIKELY do the same thing…
