Wow. I… don't completely hate this! Brand is still creepy, but somehow, it works here! Am I completely wrong for not hating this? I don't know. I kinda like the No-Liza part. I think it would be a little too hackneyed to have it. Crap films like Maid in Manhattan have played the "poor girl is better" theme to death these days. And this is proof. Helen Mirren is among the vaunted catalog of actors who improve things just by showing up.
