Lindsay May Not Be Lie-Telling! Some BIG Inconsistencies In Jeweler's Police Report!

Uh-oh! Could it be a possibility that Lindsay Lohan is actually telling the TRUTH?!

According to the police report regarding the actress' recent felony theft charges, there are apparently two pretty big inconsistencies in the jeweler's story, which may be very beneficial in getting her off the hook!

The documents show that at first, the jeweler told authorities that Lindsay had been in the store three times before to look at the necklace in question. However, the next day, the jeweler CHANGED her tune, and claimed that it was actually a ring at which she had been looking.

Another noticeable inconsistency is that the store owner told authorities "The surveillance video revealed that as Kaman [owner] was talking to Lindsay's male friend, Lohan reached up to her neck area with both hands, removed the store necklace, and placed it inside her black Chanel bag."

However, the next day, the owner then claimed that she actually walked out of the store wearing the necklace!

WTF??

We're not going to lie, those are pretty big 'mistakes' to make - especially when the matter is serious enough to warrant a police report in the first place!

We hope that these guys have a decent explanation as to why they would confuse such big facts - or THEY could be the ones on trial - for filing a false police report!

Thoughts??

Charges WILL be dropped. Lucky her. From here on out, she better walk upright and straight!

  2. 2

Either she paid for it, or she didn't. She would have loan papers if there was an agreement. I know this is what lawyers do, try to focus on little discrepancies but she's a drunk-driving, drug-addled, thieving, kidnapping, physically abusive person. She needs to pay for her crimes.

  3. 3

Ok then, explain how her assistant returned the necklace? HUH?

  4. 4

Um, it doesn't matter if there are a couple inconsistencies. The fact is, the bitch walked out of the store wearing a necklace she did not pay for. The store has no paperwork allowing her to "borrow" it. Plus, who is this mysterious stylist she claims set up the arrangement to borrow the necklace? None of her defense makes sense.

  5. 5

Who cares. She is such a skank and should just go away!

Re: Dee Wood – Well said ! #2

  7. 7

I swear they have made her Village Idiot over at awesomevillage.com so many times. I wonder if this will win it for her again.

  8. 8

i think it's been glaringly obvious from the word go that these people fabricated the story to get people talking about their store. I child could work that out.

  9. 9

why do the jewelers feel bad then? to file a complaint for 2500 bucks? now the store has all this crappy publicity.. its sketchy at best. maybe the owner said ok take it for a few days.. then her assistant took it back. I mean at this point it could be he said she said. esp if the video DOESNT have it on her neck like the guy said I mean really thats a big difference. saying she wore it out when it was really in her purse.. she didnt seem nervous at all. which makes me think she didnt do it. OR something was said where she borrowed it without writing it down. I use to work with celebrities and u write down what they take.. HOWEVER if the guy forgot to ,, he might be saving face OR did it to bust her and get store publicity.. thats why they feel bad she'll go to jail for 3 yrs… they REGRET IT! I hope she gets off.

  10. 10

Yes those are HUGE inconsistancies. She should be let off right away. Puhleeze. The video would show whether she put it on or put it in a bag. She either had an agreement with the owner to borrow it or she didn't. The DA and the judge obviously thought they have enough to charge her with a felony.

  11. 11

Re: redmond – mm like you would now all the facts in this case right ?

and i really dont know what to think she might be guilty but i think that the possibility of the store owner framing her is a big, just cause linds is been acting real goof sense rehab, and i dont think she would do something that stupid when she has been doing so well, some people just might think that its easy to get money out of her cause everybody thinks the worst of her (well i admit its her fault)

  12. 12

Sow hat exactly is Lindsays story? That the story gave her the necklace? That the store let her borrow the ncklace? Neither one makes sense because why would anyone want their jewlery attacehd to Lindsay? She needs to realize she is not that famous at least not in a good way so she is not entitled to freebies!

    13

Lol i knew it was BS when the jewlery store owner "Feels bad/Regret " haha this bitch is gonna sue for slander

  14. 14

There may be inconsistencies there, BUT How do you explain the fact that the necklace was missing, and it ended up on her neck? Also, where is the loan reciept? If she gets off on this then there is REALLY something wrong withour judicial system….She is making a mockery of the court system. But you can not refute the fact that the judge, and the DA must be aware of these inconsistencies and yet they went forward in charging her with a felony. Which I interpret to mean they feel they have a good enough case to move forward considering the DA is looking to be elected they dont want to engage in a losing battle….so good luck on that

  15. 15

There are a couple of inconsistancies in her story too than. The assistant who brought back the necklace and it being in her little sticky fingers in the first place. They have a video of her so let that tell the story. I still think she is guilty, just as guilty as the the rehab mishap too. She's gotta stop acting like the world owes her something and get her shit together…..

  16. 16

I think Lindsay in innocent!! Especially if the store owners can't even get their story right! I think the store saw her as a good target to get publicity! I don't think Lindsay would be stupid enough to steal a necklace when she had the money to buy it. She wouldn't risk going back to jail. She actually seems like she is on track and not a complete trainwreck anymore!!

  17. 17

i think they let her take it and she was to dumb to ask if there were any paper work to fill out. they were probably like "yeah you can take it" and she was like "OK!!" and just went about her merry lil way

  18. 18

Re: Niko Jaukka – RELAX. Its my opinion. You don't have to agree with it.

  19. rory! says – reply to this

    19

    I trust you Lindsay.

  20. 20

Told you this jeweler was full of sh!t.
    They better drop these charges.
She needs to file suit against them.
I hope no one especially any other celebrities never do business with them again.

  21. 21

Generally when you aim to steal something you don't put it around your neck and walk out of the store! This story never made sense in the first place. The store owner saw Lindsay as an opportunity to make money and receive publicity.

  22. 22

    Re: Frag The Paps
Ummm, then why did her assistant return the necklace to the police station as opposed to the jewelry store if there was some type of agreement? I'll tell you why, she STOLE it and then didn't want the search warrant to be carried out b/c god knows what else this freaky hoarder is stashing in her (now vacant) apartment.

  23. 23

What kind of fucking topsy-turvy world are we in when LOLhan, the Queen of Lies (or is that Dina's title?), is given the benefit of the doubt yet again because of a date glitch??? It's like the entire legal system is working hard to make sure this bitch NEVER has to be accountable for her actions. I'm surprised she didn't laugh out loud when the judge told her not to push her luck.

  24. 24

the jeweler has done this on purpose.. the publicity for the store and the necklace will only increase sales and create a high profile for the store. Lindsay needs to stay away from everyone!

  25. 25

LOL i'm sorry but that picture + caption is hilarious.

  26. 26

Oh please…. Fine, there are 2 small inconsistencies… AND??! Remember how Lindsay started out saying she wasn't even IN the store? And quite frankly, walking out of the store with the chain around her neck does not prove innocence - it only proves that she's very brazen and pretty dumb. And it aint the first time people: Lindsay also stole a fur coat and paraded herself in front of photogs, wearing it for all to see.

That her remaining fans are so loyal is sweet, but can we please stop with the denials already? Too many enablers to count….

  27. 27

WHO CARES IF SHE TOOK IT OFF AND PUT IT IN HER BAG OR WALKED OUT WITH IT AROUND HER NECK? ! NECKLACE + NO RECEIPT = STOLEN!

  28. 28

    Re: Dee Wood
That was sarcasm dipshit. Of course she stole it.

  29. 29

a lot of pretty naive if you don't think there are a lot of "here borrow this for a few days" without any kind of papers when it comes to celebrities. the owners of these types of stores want their products to be seen on celebrities because it brings in business. i wouldn't go as far as saying that the owners of this store are framing lohan, but i will say that i don't think lindsay is lying. more than likely there was some major miscommunications. for once in her life, lindsay's story hasn't changed about a crime she's being accused of.

  30. 30

in another story she was "looking at a ring worth 3600 and offered 3000 in cash", and they didn't accept it- i dont think she would steal the necklace if she had the cash sitting in her purse, i really think she is innocent! #teamlindsay

  31. ONIT says – reply to this

    31

No matter what. It's advertising for the store. I'd jump any possibility for cheap advertising too. Who the hell would believe somebody like the Lohan? Every store owner should use stars like this.

  32. 32

her lips look like two innertubes stuck together and painted pink

  33. 33

How many chances does this woman get and why? If you remove and item without paying for it or signing a memo you are stealing as there is no consent from the owner. The only time we are interested in what LL does is when whe is getting in trouble.

  34. VGirl says – reply to this

    34

I don't know…who knows with this girl! but why is she smiling???? you are in a court room!!!!! for the whatever time in a year!

  35. 35

No tangible evidence, such a camera showing L. doing what they said she did….changes in stories, L. likely knowing that we live in a time where cameras are everywhere so why given what the potential would be (jail time) would she do this? The burden of proof is flawed - this is something that should've been handled privately.

  36. 36

Something is fishy about this jeweler

  37. 37

Re: Mista Busta – ENVY IS SAD, HUH??

  38. 38

Her lips grow with every lie

  39. 39

Well words and video are two different things. If the owner SAID she walked out with it on and the video SHOWS her put it in her bag, then why does it matter if there's an inconsistency? Someone could have SAID that she flew out of the store with wings and the necklace was tied around her big toe. But if the video SHOWS she took it, then she took it.

  40. 40

Uhm..she will walk, but has anyone noticed her lips??? whats up with that
