directv to launch 3d network

We may not have flying cars yet, but at least this is a start!

DirecTV has teamed up with Sony Corp, Discovery Communications, and IMAX to launch 3net, a network that will run 3D programming all day, every day!

3net will launch on Sunday with world premieres of 3D programs China Revealed and Forgotten Planet. They'll also air the TV premiere of Into The Deep 3D.

New programming and original 3D series will be released every night at 9 PM ET.

This is like a worst nightmare for pirates! We're guessing it's gonna be pret-ty difficult to create quality torrents of 3D programming.

Will U tune in for the premiere of 3net? Do U have the necessary equipment to do so?

As long as people need to wear silly glasses it will always be a fad.

The Glasses aren't silly.. they are pretty cool, light, and they don't hurt your eyes. I have my 3D TV and Direct TV so I'm ready.

These TV's are sooooooooooo cool. It's like a window to another world.
