While the specifics surrounding his untimely passing has yet to be confirmed, the EDM star did retire from live performing in 2016 due to health reasons. One struggle Avicii faced was acute pancreatitis, which was brought on from excessive drinking.
Regardless, the hitmaker's influence on the industry is undeniable. So it's no wonder many -- including Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Dua Lipa, Liam Payne, etc. -- have taken to social media to mourn his death.
