Don't expect Mr. Schue to bring sexy back anytime soon, Gleeks. Sources are reporting that Justin Timberlake isn't down with the kids at McKinley.
According to Us Weekly, the producers of Glee approached J.T. recently to ask if they could use some of his hits on the show. Shockingly, he told them "no", which one source insists was a "slap in the face" for the show.
However, when reached for comment, Glee's team told sources:
"We love Justin, and look forward to working with him in the future."
So, which is it?
We could see how Justin might've denied their request a la Coldplay back when the show was new, but now…well, we just don't see the point of refusing. Time and time again it's been proven that getting a song on Glee is beneficial to the original artist. Just ask Journey, Katy Perry, Queen, Rihanna…the list goes on and on!
If you're not going to make any new music, Justin, at least let us relive the glory days! Let them sing Cry Me River! C'mon!
